    Hi, my name is Caty.
I am a very loud Mexican 13 year old.
I just wanted to say hi and thank Zoya.
In my daily life people are always complaining about my passion with life and my willingness to be loud. And sometimes it has really put me down. So when I heard that something similar had happened to you, I felt understood. And not only you gave me that comfort but also gave me advice that I will hold forever in my heart.
I also want to thank all of you on my family’s behalf. You all have put a smile on our faces, gave us something to look forward to every day and deep reflections on our life and choices.
Thank you for reading this one long comment.
I hope you find happiness and beautiful things in your lives.
    Love -
    Caty

I give my A grade to Zoya because she brought up an excellent point about how confidence is seen as a positive trait in many men but that same behaviour can be seen as a negative in many women - that is a deeper aspect of this topic worth digging into.

I think Zarna's stance on confidence is the most relatable. Confidence needs no validation from anyone, you just need to know yourself and be comfortable in your skin. 😊

Love this topic and your family podcast! True confidence is a muscle that gets stronger as you do things and get better at them. To be confident it's important to be able to bounce back and try again. But there's also important cousins of confidents: self-assurance and self-esteem that are more emotional qualities. Being labeled at an early age as smart, dumb, pretty or ugly impact a person their whole lives. These labels (positive or negative) stick and are tough to shake.

So so sweet how close of a bond the boys have with their sister. I love to see it. I do think if there is a guy you really like, flirt a little and give him hints that you’re into him but never be the one to ask him out. Give him the chance to him to do it first

Everyone is brilliant but I would love to hear more from Veer. His 360 to 180 correction brought a chuckle!!! You have 5 very big personalities in the room, and every one brings so much value to these podcasts. 👏🏼

I've loved listening to this podcast for your humor and exposure what to a healthy family dynamic could look like. However, this episode floors me. Everyone so wonderfully articulated their thoughts. It floors me because I don't think they're media-trained. These are normal people with normal exposure to the world? I'd love to hear how the Gargs manage to accomplish this. It couldn't just be UN debating because even the littlest one does it so well.

This episode is amazing. As always, so amazed by how wise all these three kids are. A grade to all 3 kids for sure . Zarna's point about encouraging the kids to take all their shots while they are there to catch them , if they fall is something thought provoking for me.
Shalabh 👍. Zoya is lucky to have two brothers and I think it definitely matters. By the way, Happy Rakshabandhan

Confidence as most of us might agree and just like another trait, it's a spectrum. You folks touched on social confidence vs. skills based confidence. Not everyone has full spectrum 😊

I love your podcasts. I gives me insight on how to parent not only by grownups but also through these 3 kids eyes. I loved this particular podcast so much as I have struggled with confidence so much throughout life. Hats off to you Zarna for doing such an incredible job with kids. My mom pushed me too for different activities. I will do that too with kids too 😛 I would love to hear in next podcast about Shalabh's recent struggle in professional life and I would live if you can deep dive in why you moved your kids to public school from private.

Hi Zarna Ma'am and the fam!
Thank you ma'am for making me laugh and get scared of you at the same time.
Absolutely loving the podcast-it's always a great mix of humor and insight. I did notice that the pace has fallen sometimes. Maybe you could introduce a 'Fan Fam' segment where a viewer joins in to ask some of the most controversial and fun questions? I think it could really add an extra spark and keep everyone even more engaged. Just a thought-keep up the amazing work and inspiring millions of households to have conversations that they otherwise avoid! :)

I agree with Veer completely about the fact that confidence is whether you have it or not. There is no little or much. Yes, parents should allow their kids to do what they are good at by signing them up for relevant activities and competitions. This family podcast is what Zarna has said it was one of a kind, great job to the Garg family. For Zoya (room for improvement), learn to speak up at the right time while others are talking and stick to specific points. Zoya, you can learn from the rest of your family members. Room for improvement helps to elevate your confidence.

Again, I agree with Zarna.. an introvert can be very confident too.
Also, one cannot be suddenly confident. It is like brick by brick. Debates clubs or any other public speaking or performing art gives one confidence through the exposure.

Just like Brij mentioned about Boys getting/not getting confidence based on the ability to talk to women, I would like to mention that not being seen as a women of interest by Boys/ men equally destroys confidence. Attractive women tend to have more confidence to start with, others just have to work harder to build it.

Hope you take my opinion as a construstive feedback. Take what you like and leave the rest. The topic was excellent. I loved Zoya's and Zarnas views about
confidence. Zarna you are very smart, honest and funny. I genuinely respect your honesty. Now I want to urge all of you especially Zoya to give others a chance to speak. I felt so sad for the youngest one who was again missed in this episode. The parents have a tendency to dode on Brij a lot. I get that. How about bringing in topic that is of interest to Veer as well. Also maybe having a timer so some people wont hog the conversation. I love your courage to expose yourself and family in the public arena. I only wish all of you success because you all are very interesting.

OMG, Shalab id not attractive at all, maybe to Indian woman, but not otherwise, IMO. But, he does have a lot of confidence likely because he is an Indian man whose wife follows the Indian tradition of overpraising their respective husbands. They get played, if you will, in this department. Also, I think his "confidence" comes from taking the peacock role as in he must talk and know all the answers because he is The Man.

@@marymagdalene3004lol I think the commentator was being sarcastic. Of course he’s not conventionally attractive. But the fact he describes that his confidence comes from successful spouse and kids is an incredibly attractive quality.

    • @pallavisrivastava2187
      @pallavisrivastava2187 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

Yes. That was sarcasm. I do not lust over Shalabh. But, I do find him attractive. Here is why:
      1. His Intelligence ( as a fellow ex-IITian, I know)
      2. His support for his wife and her career.
      3. Re-invent himself in his 40s - both career reset and health-reset. Its admirable.
      4. His willingness to learn (even from his children) and grow.
      5. His sense of humor.

I think the talking that is done here is a lot of words rather than brilliant mature analysis. Almost like it's a contest of who can say the most words in the quickest way (except for Zoya), so that they sound kind of smart. Just be quick and say a lot of things and you will show how smart you are. Maybe it's just that they are young - Brij and Veer, and this is how it goes. Except Veer seems to have more wisdom when he speaks whereas Brij is just quick and fast-speaking and it comes across as someone speaking empty words.
