Thanks for suggesting 2 hours when checking bags. We flew a budget airline from Santorini to Rome in June and check in was quite slow. There were only 3 agents working and we waited over 45 minutes to check our bags, then had to go to another area to check our backpacks since they had straps. Security was quite quick however.
Aegean has been quite good for me over the years. Solid pricing and great treatment of Star Golds. That said, the 2-3 hours at ATH I don't agree with. Airlines publish minimum connection times for a reason - they have tested this repeatedly and know it will usually work out. Now, I agree with those times, even longer, if you are on a separate ticket.

If I land in Athens at 10 AM (assuming I will have to grab my bags from baggage claim and have to go back inside through security) and have a separate flight to Milos at 1:30 PM, is that enough time to grab our luggage from claim and make it back inside for the separate flight? First time visiting and looking forward to it!
SkyScanner is great! We planned our flight from LAX to ATH via LHR on British Airways using points. We had to file for UK261 due to flight cancelled from LHR to ATH. Luckily we planned on 2 days prior to our cruise to arrive at Athens. Because of the flight cancellation, we lost 1 day and still had 1 day to tour Athens. MSC cruise was wonderful with a port stop at Mykonos. Great trip !
We’re flying Mykonos to Zakynthos on sky express. We have a 45 minute layover. Is that enough time? Also do they weigh the personal item? Another thing, it is very hard to find a carry on that small from USA. Will 21.5 x 14 x 9 inches be okay? Thank you!!
- 45min seems super tight. If the first flight has a 15min delay, you're missing your connection. I would try to find a flight with a 1h15 layover at least. - It's very rare to have your personal item weighed, but it has already happened to me and I had to pay 40€ extra because I was a few kilos above the limit. So be careful. - Regarding the size of your bag : the rule is that it needs to fit under the seat in front of you. I believe the dimensions you wrote would fit under a seat, but you should double check that :-) Hope this helps ! I'm taking Volatea from Athens to Crete soon. Do I need to print out a physical boarding pass, or is a mobile e-boarding pass on my phone is acceptable?

No you don't. Switzerland is in the Schengen area, so no passport control.

Similar to Ryanair. Cheap but flying hours are usually pretty bad (very early or very late)
