I’ve bought an iPad Pro 2020 after the M1 iPad Pro was announced. I bought it at a very affordable price, new with warranty! It’s my first Pro (before the Pro I had an iPad Air 3) and WOW, these tablets are a bliss to work with. Blazing fast also. I can throw anything towards it and it consistently delivers great performance. Great video!
I have the 2018 one and once I watched 30mins of youtube at 100% abd didn't lose battery percantage at all. Still I know it's programmed in Apple devices to last longer at first and then drop faster later.
hey lance, does the A14 chip on the ipad air is good enough for long term use? coz i want to buy the air instead of pro bcs i dont need the pro features.
Hey Sam! The M1 iPad Pro should definitely be a bit more future-proof, but it largely depends on what you’re going to use it for, in addition to screen size, etc. What apps/features do you use?
@@OneTechMindwell, i use camera only for scanning document. I frequently use apps like word, excel, powerpoint, procreate & lumafusion. I rarely use ipad for playing games..
@@Sam-gd8wr Cool. You’ll see the biggest performance bumps on the Pro with Luma and Procreate and the XDR display + Pro Motion offers an even better drawing experience with Apple Pencil (vs the Air). If you’re on the fence, Apple’s announcements on Monday may nudge you one way or another. 😉
Great question! I haven’t tried the Logitech Combo yet, but I’ve been wanting to get my hands on one to compare. On paper, the Combo has a few features the Magic Keyboard doesn’t, like a detachable keyboard, actual case, and shortcut keys. BUT, I’m really curious if the trackpad is as good as Apple’s. If you don’t need the full protection of a case and want something sleeker with perfect trackpad responsiveness, the Magic Keyboard is worth every penny. I didn’t think it would be, but it’s that good. Versus MBA is a tough call. Much of it comes down to macOS vs iPadOS + available apps nowadays.
What’s up people? I’ve really enjoyed this new iPad so far. Let me know if you feel the same or if you’re waiting for WWDC announcements to decide!
Very nice and concise summary Lance! Great job again!
Alex, thanks so much man! Really appreciate you rolling through and looking forward to your review. 👊🏽
Super flattered to be featured in this video. And I too love researching and making notes in the backyard.
Very good summary here brother.
Happy to highlight your great work. Thanks for stopping by, man!

Nice! Yeah, the 2020 model is definitely no slouch. Should treat you well for years to come!

You know, I’ve tended to notice that as well. I always keep eyeing when it’s going to drop down to 99% because sometimes it feels like forever.

but if the m1 ipad pro is much much much futureproof than a14, i think i go to the pro

Lance, is the magic keyboard worth the crazy price coz I heard that Logitech combo one is better and it is wobbly on lap. Or should I just buy mba

Right? It’s like… the M1 in everything both simplifies and complicates the choice. 😅

Why would you dislike 😔?
No worries bro. I appreciate your support! 😃
