@@thejoker49 Neither the motion x600 or 300 are an upgrade to the motion plus. The x600 is a different speaker with different uses and the x300 I bet sounds inferior. X600 might sound vetter but it's not the same kind of speaker or intended for the same use.

For me I prefer the Motion 300 because it sounds more bassy, I will always go for more bass.

Replaced Soundcore Motion Plus tweeters for Aiyima 8 ohm 15 watts tweeters and the change on clarity and definition are remarkable. It sounds good as it is, but some how, I felt like the Motion Plus highs were just a little muddy for my taste so I gained 2-3 db on highs by replacing tweeters. It opened more the vocals and instruments. Motion 300 sounds fantastic, but a single driver can't simply separate what tweeters can. Thanks for the great videos, Jay!!

I disagree. The Motion 300 has the better sound in my opinion. It is more full bodied which leads to a natural and organic sound. I am listening to this video with my Sony XM4 In Ears. The Motion+ sound is thinner. Some "Body" of the music is missing. It sounds colder and dryer (not clearer or better) because of these missing frequencies. It sounds good but a bit harsh. Vocals are much fuller on Motion 300, more forward, have more "body" (sweatness) and much more organic with the Motion 300. The bass on Motion 300 is more natural and fuller too as the whole sound in general. The spatiality of the sound is much better on the motion 300. "The vibe" (grooviness) of the music is more enjoyable on the motion 300 in sum, which is most important while listening. I need one. 🙂

My Motion 300 just arrived today. I love it! It sounds gorgeous with LDAC 990 set in the android developer options and CD quality music.
Listening distance is about 1m. The sound is full bodied, organic, natural and very musical. The bass within 1m listening distance is nicely deep, full and punchy up to 50% volume, which is loud. It is an engaging and fun listening to electronic music. The sound is clear full bodied and not flat or analytical.
Set all menu settings to off and adaptive EQ to off. It all just worsens sound quality with regard to hifi philosophy and also my ears. It sounds even if better and clearer if you deinstall the soundcore app after set to LDAC. LDAC ist still active with regard to the motion 300 as shown at the android bluetooth settings. In my case i do not need EQ and the other app settings at all. I like it pure.
It is the best bluetooth speaker within 1m i have ever heard by a big margin, because of close to lossless LDAC 990 and great sound design by soundcore.
It sounds much! better than my old Cambridge Audio Minx Go (4 Drivers + passive bass) and also my stormbox micro (but great for its small size). Even two Micro stormboxes in stereo would not have any chance with regard to sound quality.
This speaker is gorgeous. The sound is best when the motion 300 is lying flat (not standing), e.g. positioned flat when lying on the bed right beside me. Clarity is great, Bass is deep and punchy and sound in general is awesome for such a tiny, inexpensive but heavy device. I love it! ❤

I love the motion plus. I just wish it had better battery life. It has the 3.5 jack and the apt x.... But when I had to choose between getting a pair of it or the motion boom, I just couldn't overlook how the motion boom got triple the battery.
Not really please with the direction the company has gone in 2023. Pretty spurious claims about spatial audio, oversaturation with marketing akin to raycon.... I think the glory days of soundcore were 2019-21
Seems Anker is pushing the Soundcore speaker catalog to include too many options. As much as they like coming out with new speakers, I'm still surprised they don't have a Motion+ 2.
Yea for the first time I'm disappointed with Anker. Didn't think they would take this direction. All you had to do was rerelease motion plus. I'm just thinking of buying two of them it's available here, I have one that's from 2021 but it won't stereo pair with new ones
Soundcore should release a v2 of the motion plus. I already have a motion plus and it is incredibly good. It has a punchy bass and a super crystal-clear sound. They should release a v2 of the motion plus with Bluetooth 5.3 and a bigger battery. Also, they should introduce more color options just like JBL speakers.

I couldn't tell you what you should or shouldn't buy. For me personally, I think the Motion+ is a little stronger performing speaker, but it's an older model
Are you aiming for a more balanced or neutral sound with your EQ for the 300? I'm trying to get mine to sound less boomy and more neutral/natural, tight, clear, and thrash metal-friendly 😆
I usually try and sneak a little more bass in there, but not to the point where it becomes a distraction or starts distorting.

Jay I agree with you , the OG is still the GOAT between these two… you should throw in the the Boost (upgraded) vs these two… with a custom app setting …it might surprise you!

PLEASE READ:
This speaker has too much distortion. Play the song wine pon you by Doja cat in SoundCore’s signature sound mode and at max volume you will hear distortion.
It’s the cross over from when the high bass drops down to the low bass (sub bass) that I hear distortion in her voice.
I tried to eq it to fix the issue but that didn’t seem to help. I turned down the bass when I EQ’d it and of course I still heard distortion.
Only if I did something horrible should I be subjected to that song as a punishment. 😂

Which has better sound quality glow or motion 300
Glow is a single down-firing design, so 360 degree. Motion 300 is a more traditional dual driver forward design. Kind of depends on what you need.
Can you test two Motion 300 in stereo pair mode? Do they still have same Latency like "plus"?

Man, EQ settings vary by person. We don't all hear music the exact same way, nor do we all like music to sound exactly the same way. That's why I always find it silly that some tell others that their EQ should be what others use. 😆

300 has less headroom, so you can eq in more bass on motion plus where yoh cant with the 300
Motion 300 Lasted 6 months use. Heavy outdoor use has rendered this speaker to ewaste now, excessive distortion levels even at low-moderate volume levels, piss me off I was so hoping this 1 really could be the best small speaker. There should be 1 larger driver instead of the 2 smaller drivers that can’t handle the 30w power over time.

Mine flows impeccably at low or high volumes and goes in 5 months. I usually listen at low volumes in the room only. It is obvious that if it is used improperly it will end up going bad.
Open the speaker applybresin glue to the coil and spyder joint leave it for 2 days it will br good as new

Which is better glow or motion plus , cause now both priced below 90dollars on Amazon
Two very different styles of speakers. The Glow has a single down-firing driver for 360 degree sound. The Motion+ is a traditional front-firing speaker with two tweeters and two woofers, plus a rear and front passive radiator. For overall sound quality, I would prefer the Motion+ design.
After hearing the difference im not happy with motion 300, drives my tinnitus like crazy must be the 400k frequency but im afraid i go to buy motion plus next day they gna release motion plus 2 :(
And yes cant go much high on 300, but for mid volume its very deceny and high res with ldac 24bit / 96khz
How has nobody reviewed the motion 100 yet?
I wasn't too interested in the 100, to be honest. I do have the Soundcore 3, which the 100 looks to be very similar.
Tried the 300 for a week, but I didn’t like it, so I returned it.
What did you get instead?

There is only 1 hour difference in their rated battery hours. Maybe your Motion+ battery is less because it's several years old now?
Try using slower charging with usb hub or extension cord or power bank it is good for small technologies
