Using the 0.5 with squalene tonight! First cleansing with: neutrogena hydroboost cleanser Following with: the Ordinary Natural Moisturizer w PhytoCeramides for my dry sensitive skin! Like this an ill give you an update if my skin sounds like yours. Thanks for this video!
They have great products that are very affordable! This is the next serum I will purchase. Their new foaming cleanser is really gentle and your skin feels very clean!😊
Firstly, absolutely love your videos ❤ I love how informative & concise they are - keep up the great work! 👏 Secondly, I first started my retinol journey 18 months ago using the TO lowest strength & building up to their highest strength gradually over time and I cannot recommend their products highly enough for beginners like me & their affordability & transparency has been a godsend to my skincare routine. I’m 53 nearly 54 & I keep getting compliments on how great my skin is looking for my age 😊 If you haven’t tried TO products trust me you are missing out - they are brilliant! Just remember with actives it’s a marathon not a sprint & go slow & keep your skin barrier healthy & well moisturised. Lastly, always always always wear 50+ sunscreen EVERYDAY especially us Aussies with the harshest sun 😉 and by that I mean rain hail or shine and every season- EVERY DAY! 👍
It says in the pakage to use within 3 months but we need to start slowly and then build up the tolerance so 3 months what if the product is not over can i use it? 🙄
Since retinol is going to "strip off" the outer layer of your skin, it's going to weaken your skin a little bit. Hyluronic acid is... An acid, so to not weaken your skin, don't do both at the same time. Rather, try hyaluronic acid in your morning routine, and retinol at night. Especially that retinol has to be used at night because of UV exposure! Hope it helps
It is what I use. 1%. It is too strong the first few weeks. Then it seems less strong after that. I don't really have anything to compare it too. Seems to do the trick for fine lines.
@elma4387 You should never put a retinol serum under the eyes, so definitely stop putting it there. Only use eye creams. If you are new to retinols, ease into it. Start weekly, then every three days, and so on. Finally, buffer it. Put mild moisturizer under it and then put one over it. I recommend listening to pillow talk derm for great retinol info.

Put it in the fridge
You can but it will lose potency.
Can I use the retinol after hydraulic acid serum at night ?
I have been using 0.2 retinol from ordinary for 2 months. it doesn't make a lot of different. Should I get 0.5 or the 1% once I'm done with the 0.2
Yes you can try 0.5 :) x
Two months may not be enough to see the result. Retinol takes between 3 and 6 months to do so.
Thank you for your video. My question is, can I use hyaluronic acid together with retinol (retinol first, then hyaluronic acid)?

@@ash-ns6pd thank you 🙏
@@ash-ns6pdwhat if your moisturizer contains hyaluronic acid?
@@nyphiraI had to research. Hyaluronic acid cream is okay with retinol. If it was a cream with Salicylic acid then No.
Yes. Hyaluronic acid is weirdly named. It’s actually moisturizing. So it’s good to use it with retinol.
What does it mean if once I apply niacinamide and then retinol but when I did it was like peeling ??
The first time I did it this did not happen
Iam on 60s now can i use ordinary 1 percent..dont have acne just wrinkles concern
As a beginner can I go for the 0.5 retinol?
Can I use this together with niacinamide?
Yes
I bought it 1 week ago and I find that it goes into my eyes because it is super oily. How do I prevent this? I am trying to target my under eye area
You should avoid applying near your eyes, you’ll need eye cream for your eyes
U r actually supposed to avoid eye area to apply retinol
Hi. Can i use this retinol serum in microneedling?
Definitely not
Have you tried the ordinary retinol serum? What were your thoughts? x
Can I use Hyalauranic Acid --> Niacinamide --> Retinol?

@@CJ_536 i have the same serum, under my eyes and forehead is burning. Its my 4th night. How long do you use it? When do you use it?
