Carrie Underwood moves me to the verge of tears every time she sings How Great Thou Art! She sings with so much CONVICTION that you can’t help but be moved by it! I just feel God’s spirit when she covers that song. 🥺😭

Awards have become a joke. Carrie has much more than any award could provide; she has industry wide "Respect".
At this point, I think we all know that she is the voice of country music. Period. No gender included there. She IS the voice. Give her any song of any of those artists and she will Carrie the HECK out of that song. Randy Travis said it best when referring to her performance of I Told You So at the Grand Ole Opry, "that is a better performance than I will ever do of that song." Sincerely just the best.
She has not made a mistake since she stepped off that stage at American Idol. You are right! This is award show worthy and infinite proof that the best singers come from the church,

I agree with a lot of what said. Both Carrie and CeCe are powerhouse vocalist and tow of my favorites. When Carrie sings How Great Thou Art it does something to me everytime. She sings the song with such power and conviction but she does this with all her songs. I just love her

I've seen her sing How Great Thou Art live at least 3 times live over the last 10 years and she kills it every time, never misses a note, never cracks, never loses a breath. Carrie is one who female singers should aspire to be like as a singer and a human being!

Wow, if their was ever such thing as a perfect performance, this was it! I heard absolutely zero mistakes from Carrie Underwood through the whole song; She held her voice, for one breath, for 16 seconds at the very end, maintaining perfect breath support and power, with piercingly perfectly balanced vibrato! I loved watching Carrie Underwood on American Idol, wanting her to win (which she did); now, she has taken her voice to a whole other dimension. I was in awe watching this performance, captivated, several times. Shout out to all those Tarabytes that suggested this song, otherwise I would’ve never seen this performance!

I know that this wasn’t the purpose of the video but I was so blessed by the witness of you three wonderful Christian ladies.
I think the greatest compliment that can be paid to a vocalist is to tell them you appreciate their authenticity. When you show your enthusiasm for the quality of the sounds you hear and then validate the efforts the vocalist has made to be uniquely themselves as a performer, showing them that you recognize the genuine uniqueness in the nature of their talents is extremely gratifying to hear from a fan.
The choir was in shook watching her hit the last note! It's hilarious! 😂

Oh my Sweet Jesus!! This is soooo good! Carrie and CeCe, who thought of this!? But let me just say, both vocal beasts, but CeCe was being so courteous to allow Carrie to really shine with all the big high notes because that is CeCe's range. I'm so used to hearing CeCe singing the top notes in her softer, airier range but she really stayed at the bottom for this performance. Still it was awesome!

All I will say is Carrie and CeCe took all of us to church that night it was so amazing and once again Carrie Stole the show and gave us the best performance of the night Amen Praise God and all I will say I am so glad I have the Lord Jesus Christ in my life today without him I would of not made it threw this pandemic because I had four daughters and I lost 2 of them and a granddaughter do to this pandemic Glory to God

I love how the pieces of songs flowed together not only musically but logically/thematically. As it went from God's grace that saved a sinner, to praise for His faithfulness to us, into a song about thankfulness and laying down your trophies (at an award show, no less!), to Christ's return and the joyous singing from our soul in pure worship of God's greatness. The whole presentation is meant to magnify God and put Him at the focus and make you feel amazed by His grace, faithfulness, greatness, and His triumphant return.
TL;DR She's beauty, she's grace, she praised Jesus in this place.
that last note that Carrie hit absolutely had me in tears and chills covered my body....absolutely love both of them......me and Carrie also share the same birthday and im a singer as well so that makes me love her even more!!!!!! AMAZING!!!!!

Carrie has a distinctive quality to her voice that is instantly recognizable even without seeing her. Besides Morissette Amon and Jackie Evancho, Carrie is one of only 3 female vocalists that can bring me to tears during a performance.

When you reacted to the show honoring women in country music, you mentioned that there is a feeling of family that other genres of music do not have. A performance like this is also something that other genres do not have. I don't think I have EVER heard gospel songs sung in shows of other genres.
As you probably noticed that auditorium was empty, and it can be incredibly difficult to put on a stellar performance when you are playing to an empty house and yet Carrie and CeCe managed to give a magnificent job and apparently did it quite easily. I think the main difference I see in Carrie and CeCe's voices is due in great part to their ages. CeCe is about 20 years older than Carrie and I believe that adds richness to her voice.
