Ever seen the Robot fighting movie 🎬 "Pacific Rim"? I Iike to compare weather and climate related events to that movie. When the Kaiju start coming they're manageable . Everytime an event happens its one singular event they can handle. Towards the end of the movie what happens? Kaiju get BIGGER and they come 2-3 at a time. That's what Florida is dealing with now. Some places still haven't recovered from the last one a few months back. Now they got hit with one and days later another one coming. Florida is near the water but places like North Carolina? They're in the mountains and saw massive flooding.
What we need in the Midwest is a powerful cold front, too much summer heat too long again for fall, probably record highs by February next year again like this year

This is EXACTLY what happened to WNC! A cold front came down on Wednesday 9/25. Rain started about 4pm and didn't stop all night as the cold front merged with Hurricane Helene over top of us. The rest is history, literally. Now, we could get it again??!!😲

My husbands an EMT + swift water rescue + rope rescue certified here in SWLA and has gone to help all over after disasters, even in TX. Austin is only an hour away. And there's great barbecue all around. Plus there's Schlitterbahn, a major water park that sells water park technology all over the world.

Yep. Now we are having "dry" cold fronts. Because now warm air rising over cold air no longer produces rain. What's funny is the past few weeks I've seen them spray crisscross patterns in the sky and as soon as it started, it stopped, and it also stopped raining.
This is not at all what the weather radar shows has been happening up until the last 5 minutes. And 2 hours ago it projected. It would be a massive hurricane by now. Yet the projection still shows. It's a tiny little pile of precipitation that isn't forming into anything.
Weatherman, try to tone down your excitement, thousands of people are suffering and have lost loved ones, homes, jobs. Your reporting is giving you too much joy , just saying.😢
