Hey mate, I'm getting into adv riding soon but have been riding street on cruisers for many years. As a soon to be beginner to the adv world, once my preordered bike comes next month, would I get much out of the adv fest, or would it be better to wait for the next one?
Probably good to attend, there are workshops on GPS and Bikes Set Ups, along with a ADV Skills School option and ADV Skills Demonstration by a fella Ben Grabham - He is a great coach, he also is 4 x King Of the Desert Champion. ADV FEST is also a social gathering of Adventure Riders, along with Manufacturers and Suppliers. Worth going!
