The internal module of that alarm is very very simliar to on from Amazon for £13. So similar in fact that they alram module looks identical! In fact after zooming in on the module I'd say it's the exact module.
@@farty1000 He’s right, they’re on Amazon, even the key fobs are identicle! The Dragons see right through him, lol. I was thinking of buying Van Guardian but no chance, just ordered two of those IDENTICAL BIKE ALARMS off of Amazon and will place them inside my internals! Thank you @andrewmillerphotography! 😂😂😂😂
Be nice to see how easy or hard it is to change the batteries on the devices though. Out of all the videos I've seen online for this VanGuardian noone has ever shown this part.
Takes about ten minutes the first time you do it, much less the second. It’s not complicated, just need the tool supplies with the kit. Thanks for watching 🚐❤️
Great informative review with the product owner. A good, stylish edition to add to a layered approach of security devices to a Camper Van or Motorhome. It also has utility for commercial vans and one that buisness should look at. Thank-you
Cracking review, love the simplicity of the install and great to hear the history of it too. Always good to improve security isn’t it and sounds clever on false alarms. 🤞Fingers crossed no one pinches it 😀 (sorry couldn’t resist) Have a lovely weekend, all the best, David 👍
I suspect if someone really wanted to defeat these, a cordless drill would disable the speakers or batteries without setting off the alarm. At the end of the day, this is just a bog standard car alarm not dissimilar to what we had in the 90's.
You’re not wrong, though by the time you’ve put them in a waterproof plastic housing with 3M tape, that’s pretty much what you’re paying for in the cost of them. Not here to endorse though, just a product we have liked using
You adjust the sensitivity setting as shown in the video, we usually put ours on when going to bed so there’s less movement in the van, and rolling over in bed doesn’t set it off even though the bed is right up to the back doors.
All that so called technology for something that can be pulled off ! No one actually responds to alarms any more so a total waste of money and time ! Rubbish

any links to it? so it just doesnt look like trolling? plus | would be interested in trying one out..
@@farty1000 Mine are placed inside, so when alarmed any touch of the doors the alarm goes off.

I would of liked the van out side in sted of a echoey warehouse to get a true sound of the alarm...

Thanks David, it’s been ace so far, no false alarms beyond me forgetting to deactivate it 🤦🏼♂️ Nice reminder it’s there though!!
Just a thought and this is if the van was left on its own. Could someone cover the alarm with sound proofing and rip it off and throw away?

@@kcgunesq Yes I think something that’s on view is going to be an easy attack, especially outside of the vehicle.
Looks like a great security investment, what type of replacement batteries do these take?
Head to www.vanguardian.co.uk and it’ll give you all the details. Not changed ours yet, 8 months later 👍🏻
Great vlog thank you, can I ask what's the point of the wall switch when the remotes do the same thing?
Depends where you leave your keys whilst you’re in bed. I like having something right next to me in case I needed to set off the emergency tone.
I’m curious about the range of the sensors if I had it on the side of my van up high out of reach how far can the sensors detect?
Definitely a question for Mike @ VanGuardian’s, sure he’d be happy to advise
There are two inexpensive bicycle alarm systems installed in one housing

Good video, but how does it not work when your in bed or watching TV and moving around the van?
You adjust the sensitivity setting as shown in the video, we usually put ours on when going to bed so there’s less movement in the van, and rolling over in bed doesn’t set it off even though the bed is right up to the back doors.
The thing is we now have cctv which sends video to your phone, which is way better to be fair
Have seen them on a few vans just realised ehat they we're
Will the alarm sense anyone using a wedge to prise open a gap in a vehicle door?
Definitely! You can set the sensitivity so even a light tap will set it off.
Could this be used on a motorhome as thefts and break-ins of these are on the increase. Do you ship to France?
You need to contact Mike at VanGuardian, link for him is in the description. Thanks for watching 👀
I have been trying to purchase a Vangaurdian from Australia but the order does not recognise the address. Any tips to get around this?
Find Mike on Instagram, drop him a message, sure he’ll reply 👍🏻
If your motorhome is on your driveway & your in bed does this send a notification to your phone?
System doesn’t connect to your mobile, no. You’d need a tracker or something similar for that
Discount code doesn’t work
Hold that thought, we’ll look into it.
Thief pull it off and throw it away! simples
Could certainly try but that’s 3M tape is strong!!
This product made in England 🏴
We support Nation 1st any cost
After watching this easy just to put screw driver under it easy off and throw it as far as you can so for that case am out lol
You carry a screwdriver with you?? 🤨
I guess if I were a vehicle thief I'd have everything I thought I'd need with me.
