Great stuff Jamie, gotta love an Eduard 109, some good build tips there 👍 now for the painting , your Flory sanders look about as knackered as mine , need to make them last longer than before lol😂

Looking really nice Jamie. I still use Tipex in some places and Mr Surfacer in others. I always attach the wings first and then use them to sight the alignment of the tail planes.

Thanks mate. I prefer doing the tail first as I find it easier to judge the angle against the fin without the wings.

@@thescalemodellingcafe you don't quite have the accent, a little more practice, cheers mate.

Hi Jamie ; long time following, and luft nut here. I know you mentioned you were going to address the stance of your 109AS as we know Eduard got that bit wrong so have I missed that bit or will you show it in next video? Great work as always; weirdly I’m in middle of a similar build and camouflage but on a Hasegawa as so many left in stash. 😂

Jamie can you (pardon the pun) fill me in on the Mr Hobby epoxy filler you use. I am intrigued by it. I am thinking of getting some, could do with a filler that is more flexible to use for certain gaps, that other fillers do not cope well with. Thanks pal, not seen you for a while, good job so far on the 109. I have a couple in the stash that I have not got around to yet.🖖

I use it on seams as it doesn't shrink, it has a plasticiser in it so it's not water soluble therefore I tend to avoid it in areas where it will be difficult to sand.

Hi Gary, thanks mate. Mr Surfacer is 1200. The wheel was the 0.65mm one. Don't apoligise for asking questions, happy to help.

@thescalemodellingcafe thank you. Keep doing these types of videos as they are a massive help to me as I'm going to start my eduard 109G-6 shortly. I also have ordered the same 109G-14. Cheers Gary 🇬🇧

These are lovely kits but I've broken the tail wheel off of every one I've built. Given that it's a 109, I just treat it as historically accurate damage!
