May I ask, when doing a supermoto conversion such as this it seems that the bike's geometry would not be the same as a factory supermoto. Is that a concern when putting SM wheels on a regular dualsport?
Thanks! Best vid on this. Converting a KPX250 chinese bike.. similar specs to KLX230. Started with just shinko 712 and 777 street tires stock size 21/18. Wow! I can dnow rive this very well! Stability, parking lot confidence.. holds a line. How much more can I get with real big boy super moto tires on the 17" typical rims? Warning signs have nipped the dirt thing around here. Happy with the street tires, but MoBetta. What about dropping the forks some, maybe adding a spacer, the old dab of 30W in the fork oil?
Hey, so you're saying you just put you some street tires on your 21/18 rims and it made a huge difference? I'm thinking of trying that with mine too (standard size klx230), but thinking Shinko e705's which is still technically dual sport but it's a 70 percent road tire.
Thank you sir for making this video. I'm thinking of converting mine and this is exactly what I wanted to see. May I ask, what aftermarket headlight is on this one, and also did you change out the rear sprocket?
Great video! BTW- has anyone yet come up with a well thought out fork & shock upgrade path for the 230/230R? I’m a 215lb rider full kitted up with backpack, and I need a stiffer set-up. I see piecemeal solutions from Eibach, HiVolt, BBR, Techno(?), Ohlins…. but has anyone found a really great go-to proven solution for this bike?
@@TheManoy66 Any alternate contact info? I don't use Instagram, hate social media. I want to get a full list of what I need and cost estimate. Probably too much to ask but worth a try.
Is that just some basic spokes I can find on Amazon or eBay, I’m ordering these rims through warp 9 but can’t get the specific spokes, but if that’s all I have to get then that’s what I’ll do I really appreciate it
Sir question i have a yamaha xtz 125 what do you recommend size of rim and tire size so that i can convert it to a motard setup thank you for your answer sir more power
Heya man can you make one for skygo boss 150? xD kidding aside, what are your thoughts on this bike? I'm planning to get it as my first one (idk how to ride a bike, but ppl say if yakno how to use a bicycle u'll be fine)
As far as i know the skygo boss150 is basically a cruiser version of the Prince150, which is heavily based on the Honda CG/TMX platform. IMO The boss 150 looks comfy and light enough for a newbie to learn on.
Hey guys! Here is the "FIXED" version since the earlier video glitched.

The owner of the bike installed it himself. I believe its from polisport

What exact spokes did you use? I’m doing everything the exact same way
You can use 170mm or 184mm spokes.
