I thought Nigel was the going to be the reason Bryan lost especially when Nigel magically appeared on commentary this week of all weeks.I think they wanted us to think that and were playing off of internet rumors. I love that AEW isn't quite as predictable as it used to be they are starting to pull out more surprises.

Congrats on your 10 yr host anniversary Denise, saw your post on "X" yesterday(Wed) about it. Glad I have been along for the ride for most of it(5 yrs, 2019 when you joined Fightful). Your channel is one of the top ones I watch when it comes to wrestling content(next to Fightful) I felt for you when you were telling the stories about your mom cause of the time in your life you were in during that, as well as the bulling story cause it happened both in general and for no reason at all. I liked the Ospreay promo cause it was one of those times he was able to be real. And, I noticed the turnbuckle he sat on during it was the same one that MJF did the tumbstone pile driver spot on last week also.

Mariah is winning. I wouldn’t be surprised if after she wins that Jamie Hayter comes back to challenge her.
Why would Jamie come back to challenge her? They have no story so that would be a bit strange as a first feud. Also that kinda buries Storm to just lose and go away. They have to have two matches if Mariah win the first match, three matches if she wins the second (which would be my preference). This is a big story, AEW has to learn to not just shoot their load after one match and return to it 2 years later. Build this into a big feud. Use stips, use a lights out match. Do something to make us remember this as more than one angle and one match. Tell a story, not just an angle
Jamie and Toni are friends, that’s how they could have a story. It’s literally been told on AEW about Toni and Jamie being housemates during Covid lockdown. The story is there.
Toni has been rewarded plenty. I'm sure she probably wants to put Mariah over. If you're gonna invest 8 months to not capitalize and put Mariah over would be crazy. TK would be shit on for that call

I haven’t seen anyone bring it up in the super chats yet. Toni lost the title at All In to Saraya. That’s how we got this gimmick in the first place. So it would make sense if she loses and goes back to being lost and crazy again. Then if Hayter is ready to come back soon Toni can act like she doesn’t know her, and she can remind her who the real Toni Storm is.

Does AEW even have a true female heel if it isn't Mariah May? AEW needs a badass female heel. Statlander could be but she doesn't have much of a personality. AEW women are hitting it out of the park. It's a shame that they get such a smaller slice of the AEW tv pie. NXT is getting it right. Their women have been more interesting than their men so they got a lot of tv time, at least before Adam Page.

I mean you can say the same for WWE. Talent is not a problem in Wrestling. TNA has a ton of talent too, its never been the issue. Its how you use your talent. I don't think she would have been a great get for AEW cause she doesn't speak english and they need more promo girls than wrestlers.
