Luke is here saying "Ospreay vs. Danielson is the best match of the year objectively" and I'm screaming at my phone like "THAT’S WHAT THE QUESTION IS, YOU ARE JUST SAYING OLI IS RIGHT. WHAT KIND OF ARGUMENT IS "it's expected to be the best match"?! WHAT ARE YOU DOING, LUKE
CM Punk has zero belief today in the things he said in that pipe bomb and one can argue he's the opposite of that person today. Steiner still believes what he said and is still that person today. Math > Pipebomb
The result of this debate can easily be explained through some math. The moment Laurie was added to the mix, Olis chances of winning DRASTIC went down. You see Oli, in a 3 way debate you got a 33⅓ chance of winning, but Luke! He got a 66⅔ chance of winning cause Laurie KNOWS he can't beat him so he is not even gonna try. The numbers don't lie, and they spelled disaster for Oli.
As someone who doesn’t watch NRB, it’s great to see Laurie back on the wrestling stuff. Not going to lie, his inclusion is what got me to watch this as much as I did.
Oli's face at the end needs to be a shirt. Really enjoyed how you guys broke down the debate of the greatest member of the sheild, Honestly as somebody who watched from start to end Oli and Luke breaking down the rise and breakup of the faction, it was a logical starting point to begin this with the "2 birds one stone" treatment, while settling the "which promo is better" you guys also found a great way to tie the sheild breakup aftermath in nice bow. Great job.
I love Luke's argument for best match of the year literally ruins his argument but he says it with so much confidence. Ollie yours is the best match of the year but it was always going to be Ok debate settled then 😂
People need to stop saying "if you remove this stuff from this match, this other match is better." Well, yea, if you remove half of my money, I'll be poorer. But you can't take things out that actually happened. "If you take out all the things that made this match awesome, it wasn't awesome." Cody/Roman II is not just my match of the year, it's going to be remebered as arguably the greatest WrestleMania main event of all-time.
Would love to see this take inspo from more elements of 'Movie fights' that screen junkies used to do! Been waiting ages for one of the wrestling channels to do something like this.
Thank you guys for talking about our interview with Bret Hart , we rebranded as “digitally dreaming off the gridiron podcast” we’ve had lots of guests from Justin credible to Ken shamrock. Some of those were even better than the “ayy 👕one pod” yes I spelled it like that
This is great! And cannot wait to see more topics debated. Best Royal Rumble. Best Iron Man match. 2nd best WrestleMania. The list of possibilities are endless!
No way in hell was 12 years of consistently horrendous booking worth getting the tribal Chief character. Think of all the names that were just thrown away because "we need to get Roman over" or "We need to make Roman look strong."
This concept would be so much better if they were actually arguing what they think instead of fitting to a script. You kind of lose me when I’m supposed to believe Luke Owen thinks Roman Reigns is the best member of the Shield, I know he doesn’t
I genuinely believe Seth is the best from the shield. Most reliable, was the one they put the belt on when Roman wasn’t ready. I think they are all on the same level but Seth always felt like the guy I wanted if I could only pick one of the 3 for my promotion.
Enjoy the format. Look forward to more episodes. I think you should throw in some occasional blind questions, like they used to do on Movie Fights, to see them squirm on the spot. Maybe even multiple choice so the last to pick gets stuck with an answer they might not want. For example: Who would win a triple threat for the U.S. title? Homelander Cody, '99 Kurt Angle, or Real American Hogan?
Best To Worst Overall: Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose. Seth Rollins is Triple Crown Champion and Grand Slam Champion, was the Shield member to win the WWE Champion, won the Royal Rumble and MITB. He can cut a promo, go in the ring, get over as a face or heel, he's held three different world championships and is the only Shield member who has held the NXT Championship. Seth Rollins is considered a workhorse and the modern day Shawn Michaels. Roman Reigns was the first Triple Crown Champion and Grand Slam Champion, he's main evented the most WrestleMania's, is the longest reigning world champion in the modern era and the 4th overall in superlative reigns. However he wasn't the best at cutting promos until he turned heel and wasn't over as a face for over 4 years. And I honestly don't think he'll be able to pull off being a face when he returns. Dean Ambrose is also a Triple Crown Champion and Grand Slam Champion, he's a former MITB winner, he can cut a promo, was over as a face but only partially over as a heel when not apart of The Shield. He can also go in the ring but he was never given a fair shot. He was WWE Champion once for 69 days, didn't have a memorable US Championship run, never main evented WrestleMania and was only on the main roster for a little over six years, almost half the time he was teaming up with Seth Rollins or Roman Reigns if not facing them, and if he was still in WWE he might get another world title reign but no more after.
Ollie actually swayed me a little there, but Luke brought me back, Pipebomb mattered a lot to us that watched at the time, but Maths will outlive us and be loved by every generation. Actually wild. Iyo VS Bayley is what I thought the best match at Wrestlemania was, too. Great debates, love this idea, look forward to the next one.
Pipebomb was iconic but it did nothing for anyone. Punk left. Super Cena stayed for a few years. Vince was running the company into the ground. It did nothing.
Personally: Moxley > Rollins > Roman Roman's reign as head of the table (which really overstayed it's welcome in my opinion) does not make up for the YEARS of terrible booking we had to endure with WWE trying to get him over. I love Rollins and I always did like him more in WWE than I did Ambrose, but when Dean left and became Moxley again he had some of my favourite matches and moments in AEW and NJPW.
This is so great. I just realized Im watching best friends talk about something they all love. This format is wonderful. I would like to see more of this series.
I think you should get a group of non wrestling fans to watch them both and cast a vote. No bias. No favourites. Just a good clean organic reaction and decision.
One day I want to see them compare the T-Shirt sales to settle it once and for all. However, in doing so, it reveals Pete's Thumbs Up Shirt > Math > Pipebomb.
Suggestion: Is sacrificing the end of one year's Wrestlemania with the goal of paying it off the next year a good idea or a bad idea? It's gone well (39->40) and it's gone poorly (27->28), but should it be done at all?
Education has won. Long live the educational proprietors who enable such great mathematical thought to be dreamt and thus win this debate. MathsGREATERthanPIPEBOMB!
If I may add something to the first debate in defense of Roman Reigns. He went through the most vitriol out of the SHIELD brothers. I remember those days of the Boos, the death and assault threats against Roman and his family, the fans throwing replica briefcases at him. no one would have blamed him for walking away. And yet he kept going and came out as one of the best wrestlers of our generation.
Biggest takeaway from this show. Oli comes prepared, Laurie is a great debater, and Luke can't debate his head out of a paper bag.
Luke was right though. The polls were right and this is right. It's factually accurate😂
Sure but it’s just like Luke was saying. Because Laurie is great at everything, it’s just boring to say he’s great at this too
My biggest takeaway is that Tempest has long hair under that mask
@@matthewaltepeter8941 And he's Canadian, so is it Chris Jericho under that mask?
Laurie didn't come accross as a "great debater" at all. Besides one round, he consistently had the weakest arguments
WHAT ARE YOU DOING, LUKE
his argument made zero sense
Osperay vs Danielson isn't even in my top 5 of the year but Luke's inability to argue made me think "maybe osperay is the goat"
CM Punk has zero belief today in the things he said in that pipe bomb and one can argue he's the opposite of that person today. Steiner still believes what he said and is still that person today. Math > Pipebomb
The greatest thing about Steiner Maths is it needs no context. The Pipebomb is all context.
We just witnessed the villain origin story of Ollie Davis. The look on his face, this is a broken man.
Oli has always been the villain.
he's the boss of the company he has never been the good guy this the villain getting what he deserves
The villain has to think they're right. But ultimately: they have to be wrong.
I never knew I needed a wrestletalk debate show until now
The result of this debate can easily be explained through some math.

You sir a genius
As someone who doesn’t watch NRB, it’s great to see Laurie back on the wrestling stuff. Not going to lie, his inclusion is what got me to watch this as much as I did.
Math gives us Engineering
Engineering gets us bombs
Ergo, Math is greater than Pipebomb
The legend goes that Laurie was soon fired after the stream ended by Oli.
Math>Pipebomb Now. Forever. Together.
This could be the next PFK printed t-shirt on sale in the summertime. ☀️ 😂
☝️
Nope, Oli and Sully are right. Pipebomb>Maths
@@JaimeD.I'll buy it, too.
@@mageside The Pipebomb achieved what it set out to do. Oh wait. No it didn't lol.
Oli needs to have a depression storyline where he feels betrayed like Sting and returns like Crow Sting for his redemption arc

Great format guys! I had a blast! Keep it up! Greetings From Hungary!
Love this as a new show. Hope it continues
We all know math had a 100% chance of winning at sacrifice
Edit: Spelling
Actually it's 141 2/3 percent
Pipebomb had a 33 and a thirds chance.
The numbers don't lie
Spelling certainly doesn't if you're spelling it as Sacrafice
At least 141 percents chance 😏
It’s everything I want in a video. Couple lads arguing about wrestling I love it
actually using adult logic but remaining very funny
Love seeing new video concepts on this channel!
WrestleTalk lads all have such great chemistry together. More Sat tho
Oli's face at the end needs to be a shirt.

The WrestleTalk version of the Cornette Face shirt/meme.
Oil’s face at the end when Math was declared the winner was the cherry on top.
I love Luke's argument for best match of the year literally ruins his argument but he says it with so much confidence.
Ollie yours is the best match of the year but it was always going to be
Ok debate settled then 😂
You can see the exact moment Oli’s heart is ripped out
You know I only come on TH-cam just to watch this channel. Always love the content
In a complete twist, I honestly and truly haven't watched wrestling since the early 2000's, but I'm here for the content too
Wow,I can't believe I just got glued to the screen watching this,I enjoyed it so much
Finally decided fair and square. As it should've been in the first place
I understand why Tempest picked Oli in debate 2 but the right answer was Laurie. He had a great round
There was a 33 and 2 3rds chance of me enjoying this
That honestly not very good odds
@@tomashernandez3076
Luckily Kurt Angle wasn’t added to the mix.
@@ArcanaEricwe didn't account for Kaz
This is fantastic! I love it. It's like a bite-sized deep dive, something I wasn't sure could be done, but you have absolutely pulled it off.
Oh how I've missed Laurie! He's the heart and soul of this company. Believe that.

Pipebomb got tons and tons of people back into wrestling. Steiner maths made people laugh. The pipebomb is easily the better promo
I love seeing the guys argue about wrestling. Thumbs up 👍
The numbers don't lie, and they spell disaster for Oli
After their arguments i searched for math and not pipebomb, thats why math > pipe, it has researchable value
Love the new format! Keep it going
We need a t-shirt with Steiner Math and Oli’s face at the end😂😂
I was in stitches watching his reaction
Would love to see this take inspo from more elements of 'Movie fights' that screen junkies used to do! Been waiting ages for one of the wrestling channels to do something like this.
Better than the Presidential Debate
Movie Fights doesn't exist anymore. So this'll have to do.
I also have an unironic love of MITB 2020. Probably one of the only proper pandemic matches I’d go back and watch. It’s just so funny.
That’s crap. Laurie EASILY gave the best match argument. He chose the wrong pick but his argument was BY FAR the best
Oli’s reaction at the end needs to be the react thumbnail going forward
Thank you guys for talking about our interview with Bret Hart , we rebranded as “digitally dreaming off the gridiron podcast” we’ve had lots of guests from Justin credible to Ken shamrock. Some of those were even better than the “ayy 👕one pod” yes I spelled it like that

Best Royal Rumble.
Best Iron Man match.
2nd best WrestleMania.

Tempest absolutely needs a gavel and perhaps a powdered wig. He needs to show his authority in this court! Objectively.
Or have him dress up like The Undertaker, who usually presided over any Wrestlers’ Court
