Perfect timing on this video, Wild Gardens had popped up in my suggestions and I was wanting to see review for it. It looks so cute, I want to try it for sure. Thank you Jeff for talking about the game length, that makes me a little apprehensive, and gives me something to think about. Both of you please never change the way you speak. It is what makes you, you and what makes the channel fun to watch. I would rather two people speaking naturally and being excited about the games they are playing, rather than having to stop and think about how someone may judge their speech. Just be you, if that bothers people, that is their problem not yours. P.s. Jamie, thanks for the shout out, KAY!!!
I was kind of “meh” on the game (probably because I kept losing to the cowbots) until I pulled out the Lone Gun expansion - that really kicked up my enjoyment of the game.
@@mattd3359 the cowboys can be tricky, and definitely require balancing knocking out the areas + actions they favour. I usually default to the Normal Score, but the beauty of the game is you can just see how you'd have ranked against the Hard ones too at the end, since it's just a different scoring method. A few Hard wins in a row recently.
I want to try Lords of Ring trick taking game. I’m also not a fan of the Crew, I found my experiences stressful so it has not been an enjoyable experience for me. Maybe it was the group I was playing with ? But I do like trick taking games so hopefully this one works for me. Great video as always.
We have played the crew at 2 players and more and actually like it better at 2 players with the AI character. I wonder if you played it now after playing the LOTR trick taking game if you would like it more. Would love to see you try that one again and see what you think. 😊
LOTR Fellowship Trick Taking plays great at 2, 3, and 4! (haven’t tried it solo.) I just replayed ch 6 because I so wanted to be Goldberry since she’s so pretty 🤩 haha, and I couldn’t manage her the first time. We’ve played in the family at different numbers and added a guest for a few hands and it went great. We are all loving it!
We have been playing The Crew just about every night and the way that the LOTR trick taker was explained sounds very similar to The Crew at 2 player with the exception of the pyramid scheme (haha pyramid scheme). Looking forward to LOTR trick taker, please give The Crew another go with Jarvis (the AI)
I am soooo excited for the LOTR game. Preordered it and can't wait!
🙌

Love Fliptown. Just bought the solo campaign expansion - excited to give it a go.

I didn't know there was a solo campaign expansion. Thank you for mentioning it. I am definitely going to have to check it out.
I was introduced to Fliptown last year at Level Up. Such a fun game!! And super looking forward to Level Up again this weekend.
Just got the LOTR game and play with my husband and love it!

Effectively and basically could be a merch idea!! Like a crime fighting duo?!?
😂 great idea
Fliptown is such a great game. I play it solo all the time. Thanks for the lord of the rings game mini review. I just ordered it!
So glad you are enjoying Fliptown
💜
Flip Town seems like a must try for me😮
Hey Jaime, We definitely can't see the flyaways, so don't worry about them.
Phewwww
Just got in Fellowship! I can't wait to play it! Also recently played Inside job. Great game!
I think you'd like The Lone Gun, the solo campaign for Fliptown. I'm about five chapters in... It's a great game. (Also, I backed Khlor!)

We mayyyy try it again someday 😂
I may have pledged KHLOR after that video. It's a secret between all of you and me. :P
Awesome!
Wow I thought I was the only one that didn't like The Crew
Cab you guys do the villainous tornamant soon
Hopefully February! We just need to find a weekend to film when we aren’t travelling!
i didn't like the memorization required in the crew. kinda made it not fun to play with experienced people
I think that may have also been an element for us, it just didn’t click but the LOtR one is great!
@ I’ll have to check it out
