What I love about these lists is that it is chaos at times but the energy is never fading and the further done the list the loser the gang gets and the jokes get sillier
I agree with Tom vs. Zee when discussing Feast for Odin. It’s one of my favorite games of all time, and had that spot before I got the expansion. Because I loved it so much, I bought the expansion (even though I had to import it from another continent because it was out of print). And yes, I agree with everyone else that the expansion is essential. They should honestly just make a 2nd edition or an “essentials” edition with the expansion board.
Gloomhaven took me probably 300 hours to finish everything. With the expansion and solo scenarios, it's over 135 games. It took me 4 years and i finally finished it last year. Have wanted to finish other campaigns before starting Frosthaven.
He's not a heavy gamer. His idea of a heavy game is Five Tribes. The guy hates pretty much all Uwe Rosenberg's games, all Garphil games, Ark Nova, Brass, pretty much anything that takes more than 30 minutes and isn't a strictly 2p, or anything else that's liked by the majority. Castle Combo is top 15 though 😂
Imagine that, different people like different things. The 'voice of the people' song is related to a top 100 from a decade ago, where Zee read off the People's Choice games and was dubbed "the voice of the people" for those videos.

We liked it, but forgot about one key rule (something that’s indicated on the bottom of the board, that lets you take actions you otherwise couldn’t take… can’t remember the details), so the ending of the game dragged on as we were kinda faffing around with no purpose, haha. We definitely wanted to play it again, but haven’t had a chance yet

We also relish in having a bit of AP so we can optimise our moves. I also dont like to play any games thats less than 1 hr unless its a quick filler game like Love Letter, Skyjo or the Crew.
damn, most of these are in my top 30; great taste my man. Question for you, is Teotihuacan worth purchasing? The second gamefound for the deluxe edition is about to end and I am considering getting it without having played it before (but not sure I need another longer Euro game). Have you played Gaia Project or Age of Innovation? Just curious, as I love GP and prefer it over TM; Age of Innovation (have not played) looks like something I would pick-up over Terra Mystica too if I wanted more an open/sand-boxy feel to that game system with the fantasy theme.
@@jordanmassullo1450yes absolutely teotihuacan with everything is fantastic. I have played Gaia Project and it was on my top 10. However now i was just feeling like Terra Mystica again due to more variety - especially with 2 expansions. I have not played Age of Innovation since i already have Gaia and TM.

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE if they would un-re-theme Last Bastion back to the original theme and artwork of ghost stories. I love that SO MUCH more. I still like ghost stories more because while hard, it is certainly beatable. But there are some things in last bastion that are nice improvements. My biggest sadness with Ghost Stories is that the expansions are so neat in concept, but the base game just has so much going on that I just cannot play with them. They are like the alchemists expansion. I am already too busy over here, no more, PLEASE!
Sure as Gloomhaven got out there was another game like that. Descent first edition was way better but the one thing separating the two was in Descent you had to have a game master playing the monsters. But exactly that was the part I did like the most. Rhe evil guy could play the evil side.

Since Cargo Noir was my entry into the hobby I love it. Props for the call back.
This year's top 100 is the best one ever
Outlive at #14.... Heck yeah Mike DiLisio! Love that choice and the setting, mechanics, and feel of that game! Hidden gem!
Thank you! Lots of great choices
So many good games in this section 🙌
I remember when "Five Tribes" was on Zee's top 10... still happy it went up 5 spots from last year! LET's GOOO 😉
Camilla playing Tom out Oscars style was too good 😂
Also... CONCORDIA!!!
Get those Modeas & Co coins for your game and Levity stickers for the pieces.
Hopefully a Japanese publisher will pick up Saint Petersburg so Mike will finally play it.
Would love to see the Marvel United painted minis at some point. Great game!
YESSSSS! Castle combo!
I think we have a new Joey running the slides
I'm with Zee on Castle Combo. 🏰😁
Creature Caravan is so good - just heavy multiplayer solitaire. Didn't get much love last year, but was high on my lists

Mike, just don’t let Bruce take your picture of your Cascadia board. He will lose ya a ton of points! 😂
Frosthaven isn’t on the list cause we’re all still playing through it 😂 gonna be playing this game for the next few years for sure

I am looking forward to Zee's thoughts on Unmatched TMNT when it comes out. It's one of my favorite games of all time. Definitely my top 5😊
... Also when's the Witcher set review?
"Brass Birmingham is one of the most boring games I've ever played" - Zee Garcia, Voice of the People
