Other than the Invisible walls and performance Issues and often times clunky combat I think Black Myth: Wukong is an excellent action game. How has your experience with it been so far?

Other than a few lag spikes, I haven't faced any issue so far. Its been super good for me.

As a gamer that spent more time playing stuff he was familiar with rather than newer titles, Black Myth was a well-spent purchase.

As for me, it can be frustrating with camera and bosses can be annoying.
As their debut game, this achieved more than most AAA studios.

1/ invisible walls - that is proof of a small map, diminishing your immersion.
2/ performance issues - they don't know how to cut corners at places we won't notice just yet. It's something more about experience than knowledge, and top firms earned that through burning money in developing titles after titles.
3/ often times clunky combat - they just had to make the HP bar so long - that's kinda related to in-game balance settings. It's proof of their lack of confidence. They had too much planned in a boss battle, and afraid you'd burn through the boss without noticing that, so they lengthened the Bosses' HP, allow for sure activation. This is also a matter of experience, as that's a mistake new game makers often make.
You might argue that they had experience before starting, but making one AAA game is the first to them.
