@@tgzenith1191 I know but Game Science had too many controversies around its game. I liked BMK tbh. But its metacritic score was too slow due to review bombs of woke losers. And we all know that metacritic score is what decided GOTY or not. Personally, BMK definitely GOTY in my heart but it's not going to win GOTY due to its lack of DEI bullshit

I love how they tied the theme from the classic tv show into the music! So iconic of my time spent in China and watching it alongside my grandfather in law-his favorite show that he watched all day every day! ❤

I live in Vietnam, I remembered when I was a little kid, I asked my parents for the Wukong mask and his signature staff so I can dress up as Wukong for the Mid-Autumn festival (it’s a traditional Chinese fes), I was so happy when I first got it! I hit the street, then I found out, apparently every kid in the neighborhood…also dressed up as Wukong 😂 Wukong will forever be iconic as for us Vietnamese!

Every summer the national tv rerun the 1986 series again and again. Its theme became core memory of everyone childhood.
I watched it every morning with my uncle when I visited him in China when I was a kid. My grandma got up every morning at 5 to light incense and pray, and the living room would be filled with the smell of burning incense. That's why whenever I hear the Journey to the west theme, I can smell the incense.

@@Justin-sj1ed Yup, I'm at the final boss of chapter 2 and so far aside from some stuttering and lack of ost I think the game is great too.
edit: fixed the stuttering when i moved the game from my hdd to my ssd, for anyone who may have the same problem.
