their songs and mvs always feel so nostalgic but fresh and exciting at the same time. theyre not trying to recreate anything, theyre just NewJeans and everything theyve done so far feels like them. these girls and their team are genuinely so impressive and its great that theyve been able to keep it up every comeback and only gain more appreciation
it's even better cause they like the old 2000s and 90s black music so they love the nostalgia feel naturally and wow. They are it. Also very respectful girls that know culture lol basically they dont really release music they dont like themselves

I love the whole music video and your reactions girls! 🤣❤. And you know what makes the video game part even cooler? Actually the part of the classic pixelated video game at minute 3:44, it's actually from The Powerpuff Girls video game "Him & Seek" from 2002 for Game Boy Advance, the style is completely the same. And the 3d game that follows after although it is not 100% made the same, it is very inspired by the game "Relish Rampage" on PS2, especially the flight animation is very similar.

Somehow I feel that New Jeans and Red Velvet have a lot in common. Maybe it's the creativity in MVs to music, both are five-member groups and New Jeans CEO was behind almost all of Red Velvet's masterpieces.
