Great video, I really enjoyed it. The girl with the guy next to the red mk5 R32 was making some good points on how people are not aware of what they are driving and how it actually works. This documentary seemed to be a mix of showcasing the vibrant culture of the car community and also delving into describing the connectedness of each person and their car and how that is unique in this current world of appliance-vehicles. The fun cut-scenes and dialogues were both interesting in the own right but they stepped on each-others toes. In the scene that I pointed out, what the girl was saying was cut off guy the guy talking about the fun of car shows. I wish that both topics were a bit more separated. Overall, I really enjoyed the videography and the grass-roots feel. You're doing great things, and this is a fantastic start to your career. More people should be talking about this.
@@brennanfoster652 Thank you for the constructive criticism I appreciate it a lot. I think I definitely struggled with separating the sections just getting a little exited trying to get the story all together. It’s a bit chaotic but I think the story is more about how you resonate with car culture. My films in the future will be longer and less cut off. More planning in which points need to be made longer. Thank you so much for watching.
@@brennanfoster652 also you get the whole point so well I have a hard time describing to people I’m like you just have to watch it. Maybe it’s too much but there’s so many reasons and things to say it’s hard to stuff it all into 50 mins.
Thank you I really appreciate it. I like you comment because that was kind of my goal with the film so you saying that hits home. People have asked me why I go to shows and do all this stuff and it’s hard to put into one sentence!

Full electrification in North America and Canada in particular has been paused moving to a more practical Hybrid solution. Full EVs are just not ready for full implementation. Will be interesting to see where Synthetic fuels go and a more diverse Energy Infrastructure and distribution system.
Great video overall. As petrolheads and tuners we have our own vision, style, approach. Sometimes its not really about the brand but the creativity and work that has been put in it. We had a big car-culture in the Netherlands back in the day (chillin-socialize). So I get it, and i do respect your storytelling. But man was i in for big disappointment...The Only car Brand that should not ever been put in to this world period, is VW. No matter how creative you are with m or which model they put out. sick off m. Guess im the loser here.. because they are on every freakin corner of the world. Dont hate the player, hate the game i guess. But i always respect the Work! Thank you and youtubes algo ;) The Golf mk1 Cabrio is though😇
I share the passion for cars, but I don't agree with this sentiment of car culture dying. I think it is evolving, and eventually ICE cars and trucks will become (to future car lovers) like steam engine tractors are to a farmer today. Maybe right now it feels like EVs are stagnant and sanitary, but leave it to a car guy to find a better way. The EVs of today are just getting started, they are newborns - they are the "Model A Fords" of their kind. They will get lighter, faster, charge quicker and travel longer - it WILL happen. You can hate what I am saying but I am a true car guy, I have a lowrider '94 Chevy S10, a '64 Pontiac Catalina Safari Wagon and a 2019 Audi S5 at Stage 2+....I love cars.
I agree with you 100 percent. One of my closest friends was the Model X Plaid owner and I love his car. It’s super sick and fast and I do have faith in the culture. It’s more about enjoying what you have now because it might not be the same. And keep your old clunkers around for your kids to experience cool cars. Thanks for the comment I appreciate it as a fellow car enthusiast myself. Happy New Year!
Speed isn't everything to everyone. My thing with EVs is that it's being forced upon you. If you like EVs there isn't anything wrong with owning one. I can see people like dodge trying to make them cool but they're not doing it right in my opinion. Pumping fake sounds into my car isn't what I want. If I have to have no engine noise at least give me something cool to play or let me port in my own sounds. I love speed but just because something is fast doesn't mean I'm gonna like it combustion or not. I feel like the concept that unique cars are dying IS kinda true. I mean half the cars now look the same and are all white, grey, or black. New fun cars are also generally out of reach for a lot of younger people. Like yeah you can buy a Miata for still relatively cheap or some clapped VQ for cheap but it's not guaranteed to be something you won't have to wrench on because you're a kid who doesn't make a lot of money to be fixing your car. With cars getting more expensive. Manual is basically gone or you have to pay extra for it. People buying cars and driving them to shit at like takeovers or just never properly maintaining them you're pushed into a market of economy cars that look like every other car. Idk I know it's incoherent rambling but it does feel bad seeing cool cars rust away and the threat that the government one day will just say that we can no longer drive gas cars
Sadly in germany even used cars gotten so expensive ..😢 a view years back you could buy a freshly inspected car for a few hundred bucks .. bow they sell broken junk for that kind of money … they just added a zero to every pricetag .. and gas gotten also very expensive .. normal people cant afford this anylonger :(
Evs does kill the vibe for me. I am just not interested in new cars , and as someone that wants to experience cars .Hope some day i can buy a C6 Corvette cuz honestly that car speaks to me, but there expensive.
A mechanically good sounding car is Music to the ears. Ev lovers might appose cause they got in to cars cause they want to fit with the car culture without knowing absolutely nothing about cars and trying to race anybody in a straight line insight, buying a EV thinking there the fastest in streets and only getting humbled by a C7 zo6 when the top end kicks, nothing against them but there not for me. I got in a Tesla that other day but when i press the pedal i dont feel happy dispite it accelerating but when i got in my C7( 7 speed manual) i feel like a kid smiling and joyful, you know, happy. Evs are not for me, if i want want to buy a economical car ill buy a Camry.
