We call them "solos" but mini-jam might work better, I mean listen to Akane and Misa soar just underneath Kanami's incredible "solo". Also my favorite transition, from climbing the mountain with Kanami's solo to be just dropped into the hands, er, voices of angels.to be... taken oh so far away. This is indeed a masterpiece

Bruce used to be my fav and musically still is way up there, really hated when he got political and in bed with fleas. E Street Band in '78 was the best live show I had ever seen until Band Maid in Austin; the boys played 78 every concert like it was their last.
One of my favorites. Love the guitar solo, of course, but I love the bass and drums during the solo. Also like how they repeat the lyrics from the half-time bridge over the energetic outro. Always love when Mincho solos the outro. Thanks for the reaction! Edit for clarity.

I'm not sure what other people call that style of singing. I call it Spit Singing, because she's spitting out lyrics as fast as she can. She's a Spitfire! And 'Blooming' is a Power Pop Masterpiece! It feels like it should be an Anime Theme Song! There may be showier players, but no one writes like Kanami.
It's called Patter' - predates Rap by 1000's of years. The word "patter" derives from the Pater Noster, or Lord's Prayer which Catholics recited in its original Latin. The habit of rushing through the words as quickly as possible gave rise to the term in England. Very Common in Comic Opera such as Gilbert & Sulivan

Since i first heard it, this gem from the classic CONQUERER album has been in my top five Band Maid songs. Its impact never gets old !
