The SSC stands for Super Sonic Car. Also the Thrust SSC is powered by two turbofan engines. The Bloodhound LSR (which stands for Land Speed Record) has a giant turbojet engine with afterburner and a solid fuel rocket on top (essentially the part that makes a missile fire off from a fighter jet) that adds thrust once it’s close to the speed of sound
It baffles me how he didnt see the ssc wording in bold letters on the wikipedia page he looked at at the very beginning

The small boosters on the wings and the wheel placement I guarantee were causing most of the instability. Those boosters were angled up and picking up the rear end causing it to want to spin around.
