- How many strings would you like on your instrument?
- yes.
It produces such a beautiful layered sound.
Me who is still struggling to learn a 4 string violin after watching this: you've got my respect
Love the sound, it sounds like an entire viols consort by itself.
It’s gorgeous!!! I love the sound so much
I've never seen and not heard of that instrument before, and I first started learning music more than 40 years ago. That was really interesting, thank you.
With my very best wishes, Julie Gill, Glasgow, Scotland.
Beautiful. Reminded me a lot of an organ
The baroque era was truly the wild west of instrument making.
Luthier: "so how many strings you want on this thing?"
Da vinci's boy: "yes"
Rennaisance and early baroque stringed instruments are so cool.
I want to hear Moondog's Bird's Lament played on a quartet of these
Too bad
Beautiful and very interesting instrument with also a beautiful sound! 🎶🎼🎵
It's a beautiful sound, would be lovely to hear it more often. I imagine it's quite difficult to learn to play, with so many strings Thank you for sharing!
Ooo...gave me goosebumps!
Impressive!🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯 the talent it takes to play that many string’s must be incredible. Gorgeous instrument and very emotional sounding
Wow - just amazing
very special but it has a incredible mellow Renaissance sound!
The shape of it looks exactly like what a child would have drawn from memory if asked to draw a cello 😂
Sounds strangely like a harmonium.
I love that opera
Oh my gosh! That's amazing!!
Like a string consort in one instrument!
Wow❤
It sounds like an entire consort of viols
cosmic
That except is amazing, I need to listen to that piece now!
Good luck in tuning this monster
beautiful!
Sounds like accordeon...! Great..!
It must be quite difficult to control on which strings you play, as the curvature of the bridge is so flat and there are so many strings. Very interesting it has such a sculpted soundboard
Gorgeous
holy fk. It's like the organ of violin family.
Love the #lirone! 🎼🎶💕
👍
Lovely rich sound
Biblically accurate cello
It’s a pity we’ve got stuck on just a few instruments. It would be nice to see new instruments developed or even old ones reintroduced
It seems to me like the sounds of accordion
What you expect it to sound like when you use a violin bow on a guitar for the first time
From the forst two chords, I thought you were gonna play Allegri's Miserere
Dear Lady, WHAT Temperament is position of the frets?
Wow, how many strings are there?
What piece is she playing?
It's the Ritornello from Monteverdi's L'Orfeo, Act III
@@oae Thank you!
*can it play M E G A L O V A N I A ?*
Rather you than me.
Designed for 7 fingered musicians ?
I would NEVER call such a beautiful instrument a "large liar", I'd avoid all people speaking Inglish. They talk weird, do not they?
uh.... i think its to much strings
I think lirone needs to have a huge fingers 😂
