For those of you whining about this video not being in depth enough: You might want to back up and try learning some camera basics first. Shutter speed, ISO, aperture, white balance, etc... Those are all terms you should become familiar with first, and they are quite beyond the scope of a specific camera tutorial.

Hi. Is the full auto mode good in this camera? I'm just very lazy to play around with settings and i'm just looking for a decent quality camera that has a good auto mode.
Had this camera for a year and a couple months, good camera, but it looks like it's not very durable. It has developed a problem with the focus, all my photos are blurry in the upper right corner. If a take a group photo then the persons on the upper right hand side are blurred out, but the rest are clear as they should be. Quite annoying to say the least. I have it with me when i'm mountain biking, it's in my backpack. Something probably came out of alignment or something inside the thing. And i'm not even a hard rider. Just a heads up for you.
I have an issue with my camera that when I push the shutter button, it takes a second or two to actually take the picture. Does anyone know why there's a delay? It's preventing me from taking the shots that I want when things around me are moving.
Did you activate the shutter delay and forget to change the setting back? That often happens to me after I used my camera on a tripod for long exposures to avoid camera shake.
Hi! When i connect the camera to the computer through the usb cable, the lens closes. I want to be able to use the camera while is connected to my pc. Is that possible? Thanks!
When the camera is connected to a computer, you should use the Compact Power Adapter kit ACK-DC20 (optional) so that you can continue using the camera regardless of battery level. All procedures performed with a connection to a USB 2.0 compliant board are not guaranteed. I have thought of using the camera as you do and the above was what I found out. The kit mentioned does not come with your camera and it is not guaranteed you wil be able to do all actions you could do with your camera while not attached to the PC.
I agree with you. I bought this camera and used it for a year ten lat night I pressed something and the camera cannot record ...still taking still photos but aking for et auto focus. Set Focal length. Now i've reverted to this other complicated DSLR that I thought I didn't understand . I'm a youtube creator not a professional photographer.
This is vile. Loathsome. No linear logical order. Horrifying. As is the Users Manual. You must already be very experienced with digital cameras to understand it. Where the EFF is the third-party guide to explain this camera? In print rather than listening to this blathering?

why do i feel like this isn't quite on the same level to the g5x .. yet i would assume a g9x is ordinarily an 'upgrade' of sorts
