33:37 Thank you for returning photos and such. My Husbands Father lost his unit and we had no clue but it had my Husbands entire childhood in it. I wish I'd of known or I would have bought the unit. I wish I could get their family photos back, especially now that my FIL is gone.
I'm a coin collector & you don't know how bad I would of loved to have some of those silver barber dimes,quarters,Franklin $1's & some of those other silver coins for my collection. Someday I'll get some. Great find guys 🖒

Alot of those albums are worth money. They were popular in my time and I'm 65. But I still feel young. Going camping next week on the ground in my tent. Then we go hiking everyday we're there one to three miles a day.

Caravelle watches can be worth something. I pawned one once that come to find out, it was white gold and the obvious 12 diamonds. Got like $185 for it maybe 10 years ago.

Honestly, the jewellery making stuff will make you a ton! Get someone who knows about it to sort it into lots for you cause you have everything to make every type of jewellery in those boxes! And we crofters love those wooden boxes too so don't discount the value of those!

New sub here. I worked in a coin shop. Some of the coins you have are valuable. Try not to touch them as the oils from your hands can devalue them. Hold them by the edge of you have to. Just wanted to share. Have a great time on your adventures!

I recognized one of the drawings in the box of art it looked like an original drawing. It look like a hand drawing another hand He is a very well-known artist for this. He is a Dutch artist, his name is M. C. Escher.
That explains the quality of the stuff in the unit and packaging methods.

Omg, Jim is amazing. My mom threw away all my Croce albums 😪 but if ur a true Croce fan, listen to his tunes on yt, his widow, Ingrid, responds a lot to all his fans. As she had said, 'Jim is my man'!! She is such a sweet person. Also listen to his son's music, A.J. Croce. Amazing musician! You'll find out so much by listening and commenting on his music. Jim Croce was amazing. I was only 13 when he passed, only day my mom let me stay home from school!

I heard that old house phone ring when you threw it, that means its old and likely worth $20-50.... There are so many small vintage items that are valuable in this locker it would take forever to go through them all. The slides and the projector together would be an interesting auction. This is one of the most interesting lockers because I've saw things I haven't seen since my childhood in the 80s or early 90. You guys really might want to hold onto those silver coins as something for your future... the value is only going to appreciate...

A possibility for the Snoopy is a proof and actual sold. More homework on that, too. Do your homework on the drawings in the wooden briefcases. They are put there to keep from warping. You better check on that steel war penny. It is so hot & you are so red faced. You do work hard. I'm glad you finally got the coins. The globe goes in a garden or use your imagination. I subscribed today. Be happy to yourselves. Plus, the slides if they are old, will be worth more than the projector. The drawing of the hand in the chest was a picture of a fishing lure he was making. I love that you are a couple. You compliment each other.

So happy for you both this unit was so exciting to watch, there's always a part of me that feels sad for the owners but it seems this one was a dodgy character so I'm not so sad for them . It's always good to see you both get great finds and I think you hit the jackpot with this one.

Most jewellery marked Mexico is Sterling silver.
In one of your earlier finds, in a small box that had small change like pennies, there were some keys. Perhaps one of those would fit the safe box.
In files you can find stock and bond papers, titles to whatever, deeds, maybe some emergency cash. So I hope you find something. Ya never know where people hide things. Coat pockets, purses and all the pockets as well. Just recently started watching you videos and enjoy them so much. I would love to do what you but I get to watch you two!!😁👍

LOL Those coins need to be gone through one by one. There are some valuable errors and dates out there in unsearched rolls. Buy a house kinda money. I also wondered if you have to report or turn in cash you find. Especially when it was a criminal's storage unit. Usually the IRS likes to keep tabs on it at least.

I want any Croce LPs!! You guys, besides the coins, stamps, etc, u have a fortune in Albums! Im high fiving my husband on the LPs!!!! Hope they're up for auction and I can afford to get them. Sometimes, music means more than all the coins u find. Sentimental.
I don't understand how someone can have thousands of dollars worth of antiquities in a storage and not only LOSE pop's collection, but they could have paid for their unit for months to come and lost nothing! What an insane find!
Mostly these things are stored to cool off because it is stolen items, and they get busted and go to jail on some other charges and the things that are in storage unit end up going to highest bidder. Drug dealers will trade drugs for things of grate value. Addict will steal 1000 dollars of merchandise and trade it for a few dollars of drugs. It's so sad to see people who are hooked on drugs and the people who get ripped off of the things that they worked so hard for. But I am happy to see that someone who is good ended up with it and not the criminals.

I can't believe how young you are. You don't know what a slide projector is, you don't recognize artists who sold millions of albums in the 60s and 70s, I'll give you a pass on the pince-nez, those haven't been used for 100 years. You probably shouldn't have tossed the phone - old-style phones are hot collectibles right now.
There are a lot of things that are surprisingly valuable - the Art in Transit book by Marion Meckleberg seems to go for about $80.
I'm not surprised you didn't recognize the Adlai Stevenson pin - he was Eisenhower's opponent in 1952 and 1956.

I agree with you. Those records were a snapshot of my high school years. I always get a kick out of their innocence when it comes to certain things. That's how you learn. This knowledge will come in handy in the future.
Please don't be so hard on them because they are young. Remember, we were young once too and thought items from our parents generation was different. For starters, they have come a long ways in how they care for older items even if they don't know what it is. Also, somethings you don't learn through a history book but by hands on or chatting with elders. They are doing both in the videos they make. They are honest if they don't know what it is. They will ask viewers and will research items in order to learn more about it. I am proud of them on how far they have come. I have done a 360 regarding my opinion of Jebus and Amber. I have come to admire and respect them. They have grown and learned so much. Now I am learning from them.

@@marthamostyn723 They’re not really worth a whole lot unless it’s a 1943 copper wheat cent. The 1943 one cent coins were struck in steel due to wartime shortages in copper and they are fairly common among collectors. One way of confirming that you have a steel cent is by holding it to a magnet as it will attach due to its altered composition of zinc-coated steel.
Some of those “art pictures” may be worth money. I bought one at a yard sale for a couple of bucks. It was worth $75. Depends on who drew it.
On the Morgan Silver Dollars the Mint mark can be EVERYTHING when it comes to value!! Carson City (CC) mints are a PREMIUM price coin and can be worth over $1k.

The banknote at 39:07 is a 100.000 ('Hundertausend') German mark note. It's from around 1922-1923, during the Weimar Republic, issued by the Reichsbank, which was Germany's central bank up till 1945. Due to hyper inflation, they had them up to 1 trillion Marks, I believe. Not worth very much, I've seen them listed for about 7-8 dollars.
