Fun fact the flag with the little black white and red sup flag with the iron cross on it wasn't even a nazi flag that was the imperial german war and navy flag used by the north German federation and the German empire and later the Weimar (german) republic from 1866-19122
I'm amazed how people turn their noses up at Nazi Hitler stuff but seem to love Japanese WW2 items which were just as brutal if not worse than the Nazis..
Even though those items not popular they still are worth decent amount to right collector. Believe it or not the market is very good on those kinda items right now.
Perhaps I could have made some money on this but I honestly couldn't bring myself to sell it so it all went into the trash. This is the kind of thing that gets you banned on eBay. The other videos on this locker show sports items that I was able to sell at a nice profit.
Hmmmm. Strange thing, I have an old ash tray which was made in an Allied POW camp by a German POW after V-E Day. It's made from a cut-off 155 (?) MM cannon shell, but it has runic designs on it similar to the ones on the outside of that box. I have to go down to my basement one day and dig it out of the mess down there.
Thanks for your help with this. Judging by the other things we found in this locker, it looks like this was put together by a high schooler or similar aged person. They may have not known themselves what they were writing...lol.
The symbols on the outside look like Norse runes to me (often used by white supremacists and similar). The last 4 symbols look like they spell "none" and the 5 to the right of the lock look like "death".
No problem, I recognised some of the runes and spent ages trying to translate it (before even watching the video!). It's frustrating as it just doesn't seem to make sense (not that I expect the writings of the owner of a chest like that to make sense) even with the alphabet from 5:18 it seems to say: "DLP HAIL POWER DEATH IS WAGER NONE"
It is Viking Norse riding on the front and the box is not homemade it is an actual shoe trunk World War II you can decipher the language on the front of it they have Viking alphabet on Google and you could also donate all that to a German Museum
@@BrianKemian I’m a big fan of World War II and I basically did my senior thesis on World War II battle strategy in the European and idiotic theater. One of the things that I found out while I was doing a lot of the research for that paper was that Hitler was obsessed with the occult and he was also belong to what they called the thul society, which is basically a cult society that is obsessed with German mysticism and you can trace back to not only Vikings but also to Germanic places the interesting thing is that Hitler also created a Mystic nightly order called the SS, which were all all based around Germanic ruins
A lot of people collect some Nazi items because they like to learn about the world's former enemy.Like soldiers taking the weapons of the defeated enemy. If you don't learn from the past you are doomed to repeat it.
You hit a Neo-Nazi fun box of crap the only flag that might to have been real was the Imperial German one could tell better if I could look at the Halyard.
Trump said "Foreigners are the Poison in America's Blood." When he was told Hitler said that in one of his speeches he said he didn't know that. But it doesn't make it ok because he thinks the same way Hitler thinks. A vote for Trump is a vote for a Dictator.

Thanks for the info. This is really out of my wheel house.
obvs that 2 and f emb2
This is a joy to watch. My favorite show
Why thank you. I like your vids as well.
I'm amazed how people turn their noses up at Nazi Hitler stuff but seem to love Japanese WW2 items which were just as brutal if not worse than the Nazis..
Yea thats weird . I never understood that .
The family put away dead great grandpas old racist treasures.

Especially if previous owner of unit was by chance well known in that circle of beliefs

@@BrianKemian Banned? I've seen people sell full on Nazi war flags on Ebay
@@certifiedloser2112 I didn't try to sell this stuff because it wasn't war era. They were all pretty new.

That is interesting for sure.
The writing is either elder futhark or futhark, Nordic runes,

Only chance of cash in that box is possibly the hockey cards and one Nazi flag
Well, I did sell the hockey cards but tossed the nazi flag. It wasn't old anyway.
What meaning does the dragon flag hold?
I can’t really say. Creepy eh?
Most likely it's either Henry Ford's or Prescott Bush..😮
Wow. that would be something for sure. I think it was just a creepy kid.

Ben Willis also, I feel like a kid wrote this. There were a lot of drawings and things that look like a kid would make.
If you’re not going to sell the trunk, you might consider donating it to your state historical society or the US Holocaust Memorial in DC.
stuff will make a good bonfire...
I agree!!

Those are ruins on the outside of the box
Thanks. that has bee the consensus here in the comments.

A plastic P.38 would have been the top of this fake collection!
the signs on the front are rune signs old germanic signs
That seems to be the consensus here. Good catch on that.
1:10 Norse symbols/Odin's runes
Thanks. That has been the consensus here so far.

Looks like it says, "Dearborn Teachers Rule!!" :)
You know it!
I did miss that but it's true...lol
Nordic runes on the box
That has been the consensus here so far. Thanks for your input.
Have a Beer
Don't mind if I do.
Germanic runes
That would make sense as a lot of the stuff I found in this locker was German related.
on box runes!
That could be it but I'm no expert. Good eye!
Good
Thanks MIke.

All of the flags were made of nylon so they were not old. Too bad though as they may have been worth some money then.
I felt uncomfortable just watching this video. Burn it all 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥
Don't worry. It all went out the garbage.
Imgur sent me
They must have great taste then...lol.
navy flag
Thanks!
Hunter Biden's box.

😂🤣😅🤣
I think you're confused. It was Trump that quoted Hitler by saying "Foreigners are the Poison in America's Blood."
Hi❤❤
some one was a kkk member
Judging from where I bought it, that would make sense. But I think that box was something a kid would make.
👍🇲🇫👍👍super.bien.jaime.
Thanks!
Looks like the witches alphabet on the box
That could be true. I'm not too familiar with this though. It would kind of make sense from the other items I pulled out of this locker.
Probably spells out some sort of protection 'spell' or something . Maybe a curse too ,never know. Wouldnt surprise me
Fake news..😃😃😃😆😂😂😂
