    I recevied a 16 ounce as gift, it came from black rifle coffee company and came with the bag. I wanted a smaller cup so i got the 8 ounce 360 i love that if you take out the insert it will fit my aeropress perfectly. I use with the lid on when I'm moving around and take the top off of if I am just sitting. Happy with both mugs.

    Got my first one of these this week, the Move and 360 lid - great first impression for me, kept the coffee almost too hot for too long vs the paper takeaway cups. I missed how the slide lock lid works though, and think that may have been the perfect choice. That aside, this is a really well made mug, and I will enjoy using it from now on 🙂
    PS the Move fits my car.
    If I could change one thing, I’d like to see a rubber grip on the base and perhaps a less rounded base edge, I think that would make it more stable when travelling by train.

    The slide lock lid is essentially disposable. You'll have to replace it after 100 uses--or maybe a lot fewer.

    • @CabeensCoffeeCorner
      @CabeensCoffeeCorner  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      What makes you say that?

    • @highnrising
      @highnrising 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@CabeensCoffeeCorner The lid was designed as if it was going to be made out of annodized aluminum or something. (That would be pretty cool, but I guess if they did that, the mug would cost over $100.) But it's made out of hard plastic pieces, some of them very thin. The pieces simply wear down from use and from the heat of the coffee. Look at the reviews of Fellow's own website. Multiple purchasers say that the slide-lock lid broke and that the replacement that they bought or that Fellow sent them broke, as well. I have a Fellow Carter Wide mug with a plain top that I use as a container for coffee beans and a Carter Move mug that I use for drinking, mostly at my desk. I like them--though I'm very gentle with them and make sure to put the lid on absolutely straight and to screw it down deliberately and slowly. And after I wash it, I leave it open and don't put the lid on unless it's absolutely dry. This is a niche, delicate product. It's not something that you can just throw into a bag and bang into things and use without concern, like a Hydroflask.

    You forgot to mention that the original carter also is NOT machine washable. However, the carter move is fully machine washable, just remove the O-ring from the lid and place all 3 parts in the top rack.

    the slide lock lid is a fantastic idea but let down by it's execution. i bought one. seemed leak proof enough, you can drink out of it comfortably. but after a couple uses the lid wouldn't let much liquid through, and i was told to take it all apart and reseat it again. that's far too much hassle for a mug.

  • @joshsilver965
    @joshsilver965 ปีที่แล้ว

    Big pro with the original design is that it just barely fits an aeropress, the move I would think would be too narrow!

    I just received a 16 carter everywhere mug for Christmas. It came with the bag. It's nicer to drink from than the starbucks Stanly 16 ounce thermos I already have. The Stanley will fit a cup holder and this will not. But neither one can be used while driving. For driving i have the starbucks Stanley with the trigger thing. Once I got stuck in the mtns off reading and it was 12 hrs before I got back to civilization, coffee in one the stanlies was r till drinkabley warm on the trip home. do make cup holder adapters for bigger cups if that's important to you. In my opinion if you want to able to drink one handed luke while driving, Stanley is the way to go but for breaks where convience the fellow anywhere is a better drinking experience.

      Mug came with the bag with a tag saying its made from recycled materials. I was a little puzzled by the logo on it until she clued me in that it's the "Black Rifle Company Company" coffee shop where she bought it at thier store so I'm not sure if you order from Amazon you will get it. Wish u could post pics in the comments

      i had that issue too, but it pretty much disappear if you store it without the lid since it retains a lot of the aroma if you store it with the lid.

    This brand is new to me
    Lots of nice features
    But my mugs must be 100% leak proof & operate w only one hand w out looking.
    The perfect mug would be the Fellows w a contigo lid. Contigos DO NOT LEAK. Turn ‘em upside down and shake - no leak. I only use Contigo travel mugs
    Contigo mugs & lids have lifetime warranty.

    Hey Cabeen! Thanks for the videos man.
    I have been viewing for a while now. Especially your previous videos on flair products! You have been an immense amount of help.
    If I can just offer some advice. I think your videos will improve immensely if you have a better more professional background. I don’t this means you obviously need to get a studio or anything but just something more pleasing to the eye. Hope that makes sense.
    I’m sure you can’t think of some many examples from other TH-camrs!

      @@CabeensCoffeeCorner Hey, as a new viewer I really enjoy your video! Your videography is pretty good, and you seem very cohesive with your explanation.
      For advice with the set up, determine if you want a face to face set up or a voiceover with b-roll set up. One idea for the face to face set up is making it seem almost like a conversation with someone in a cafe. Mix in some nice videography which you show more than capable of, and do a few takes to get it right. Do something you love, most of all though.
      The outline for this video, though, is remarkable and really interesting! Thanks for the quick watch for me before I head to work! Keep up the good work.
