I just got 32s and they fit perfect with a 2 inch level. Falken Wildpeak AT4s are the best tires I’ve found for on road/ off road and rain / snow as well.
@ 265/70/r17 - perfect fit with slight level, with no rubbing on trim, flaps, bars or suspension, but it’s tight. I wouldn’t be able to go any bigger without modifying.
Great video man! I also have a 24' Ranger XLT but mine is in metallic blue. Looking to get the Ford mud flaps, what did you use to paint the ford logo in the rear flaps?
@@jgr0797 thanks for watching. Awesome man. Great color also !! I used pin striping paint !! I’m sure you could honestly use any paint cuase the letters are raised
I got the 3-panel foldable tonneau cover on my 24 Ranger. It's worth it. Mine came with a spray-in bedliner from the factory. Might want to consider that for you list of possibilities, too. Other than that, looks like we got the same exact truck, right down to the color.
That’s awesome !! I’ve been thinking about a tonneau cover. I have been throwing around the idea of the spray in bedliner. I’m sure it will be soon to come !! Awesome trucks. Thanks for watching appreciate the comment
I have almost the same truck, '24 XLT FX4 with the 2.7. I had mixed feelings on the Carbonized Gray, but now I'm really liking it. I didn't think I wanted window vent shades, but those look very nice. I too prefer the ones on the outside, not inside the window track. For floor mats, I bought a brand from Amazon called Anbingo for $100 for the front and rear. Not as nice and robust as Weathertech or OEM, but they do the job. What's the advantage of shorter sway bar links? No other kit offers them, so are they really needed? I'm looking into a level kit, with Superlift on my radar, but a little pricey.
@@jbrou123 thanks for watching Awesome truck how are the Amazon floor Matt’s I’m not sure the advantage I’d have to look into the shorter sway bar links. But I just like how they are heavy duty and greaseable
@@tipsyrippers The Amazon mats work fine, though maybe a little less rigid than OEM, which shouldn't matter. But I think they are deeper, sort of like what Weathertech does. I accidently put them to the test when I spilled a 16 ounce drink. The mat contained all of the liquid, except for a little that splashed on the door. Nothing got on the carpet.
@@jbrou123 man that’s awesome!! Great test From what I’ve read on the internet. The shorter links are used to keep the away bar at the correct angle so it keeps proper leverage on the links. Without the shorter ones your stock ones would wear out prematurely
I just took delivery on my 2.7 XLT today! I want to level mine as well. I'm interested to see what size tire I could go up to. Has anyone done it yet with just a leveling kit?
@@YourFavoriteLibertarian so. From what I’ve seen. They “ claim “ you can fit a 33 inch tall tire. Texas truck channel put on larger tires. However. I’ve found on mine you cannot go any wider than stock. This is beucase the tire is already so close to that large aluminum steering knuckle. So you would have to get wheels with a much larger offset or wheel/ adapter spacers.
@tipsyrippers I would actually want to go with the same width, so I wouldn't need to change anything. That's good news! I'd probably look for some KO2's in the same width profile. I'd keep the same wheels. They look great.
I saw a vid where a guy put 285/70r17 on 2.5in leveling kit not sure tho if he was using spacers or the offset of the wheels. It looked good tires were sticking out like an inch or two but put some fender flairs on it it'll look aggressive as hell.

Hi !! Sorry for the delay on the reply !! For a truck that ford just brought back in 2019 I would say it’s a really good comparison to the Tacoma. The Tacoma is tried and true howbeer they seem to have fell behind in inside ergonomics and technology as well as outside ford offers for packages on the Ranger than the Tacoma. The Ranger also has more space and very capable truck for its size !! I would suggest maybe watching a couple of the TFL TH-cam videos comparing all the mid size trucks !!
@ well. The super charger isn’t factory. I’d go with the ford as the 2.3 eco boost is at about 275 hp. With the optional 2.7 at about 315. The best engine option on the Tacoma is the 3.5 v6 with only 278…. I’m a ford guy so naturally I’d go with the ford.
@ Yes… They say that the Ranger can breakdown in the field. (Maybe) But the Tacoma 3.5 V6 with a Magnuson supercharger has about 400HP that says it’s go time.
@ ok well in that case you can get the ford ranger raptor Factory. That has 405hp with the added factory software update that gives it 455hp and it is much more capable off-road than a normal ranger. If you’ve looked recently Toyota hasn’t had such a good rap with there transmission problems.
