Awesome video.I bought this. Way more ridgid than the work sharp professional precision adjust. Like you said the jaws don't open wide enough for most of my knives. Got the Xarilk Gen 3 on the way. Hope it has the same rigidity.
I can make that with a model kit
@@Ilikeflightsim that’s awesome. In the same scale ??
what ever, blah blah blah, LOL!
Wats the link to the 7 inch light bar in the middle and the mounts
@@alejandrosanchez2482 I don’t have the link for it. It was a gift but it is about 6.5 inches wide and it has the side mounts and I kinda had to fabricate some stuff to mount it !
Why they change their name to Vessel and not keep Hondaboats 🤔
@@alejandrosanchez2482 I was wondering the same thing !!
Great video man! I also have a 24' Ranger XLT but mine is in metallic blue. Looking to get the Ford mud flaps, what did you use to paint the ford logo in the rear flaps?

Just got the same machine and mirrors. And I agree with you on the BRP instructions. lol. But your video made it simpler 👍🏻. Awesome video!! Thanks
@@jackyspencer9534 Thanks glad I could help
lol that is not the winch mount. That’s the relocation bracket for the top control box. It’s an optional part.
@@kylecroft3566 ok !! Thanks that’s very helpful. As the holes line up exactly to the bottom of the winch where the holes are etc. that makes sense
Just picked one up on sale 40 % off ! $365 out the door😀
@@kcdaniels58 man. That’s such a steal !!! Even if it isn’t that good you really can’t complain !!
I bought the same ones, but haven't installed them yet. Husky Liners has them now for the '24 Ranger, but at twice the price.
@@jbrou123 I had also looked into the husky ones ! I think honestly think these ones would go up against any other !
I have almost the same truck, '24 XLT FX4 with the 2.7. I had mixed feelings on the Carbonized Gray, but now I'm really liking it. I didn't think I wanted window vent shades, but those look very nice. I too prefer the ones on the outside, not inside the window track. For floor mats, I bought a brand from Amazon called Anbingo for $100 for the front and rear. Not as nice and robust as Weathertech or OEM, but they do the job. What's the advantage of shorter sway bar links? No other kit offers them, so are they really needed? I'm looking into a level kit, with Superlift on my radar, but a little pricey.
@@jbrou123 thanks for watching Awesome truck how are the Amazon floor Matt’s I’m not sure the advantage I’d have to look into the shorter sway bar links. But I just like how they are heavy duty and greaseable
@@tipsyrippers The Amazon mats work fine, though maybe a little less rigid than OEM, which shouldn't matter. But I think they are deeper, sort of like what Weathertech does. I accidently put them to the test when I spilled a 16 ounce drink. The mat contained all of the liquid, except for a little that splashed on the door. Nothing got on the carpet.
@@jbrou123 man that’s awesome!! Great test From what I’ve read on the internet. The shorter links are used to keep the away bar at the correct angle so it keeps proper leverage on the links. Without the shorter ones your stock ones would wear out prematurely
Thx for the info and price just bought my truck this morning

@@DonaldRash-u8s No. it’s a Daron postage stamp plane
@@tipsyrippers oh ok 👍
Can't thank you enough for this video! I love how $250 parts don't even come half put together. Then theres no instructions in the box you have to go online. Then they totally neglect to mention how you attach the bracket to the mirror. They just show the parts already together and how to put the bolts through the door to attach it which any moron could figure out. I did find you can take a piece of electrical tape to hold the dowel and spring in place while I use my shoulder to put pressure on the mirror while trying to jam the bolt and plastic bushing in place. It was easier to come up from the bottom with the bolt and dowel and then used a small screwdiver to push the top bushing in far enough to get the nut on all while holding pressure against the spring. If I had a CanAm rep with me in the garage I would've kicked him in the privates, repeatedly. Thank you so much for this tutorial. Perfect timing. I have the exact same model and color. Would be interested to see what other mods you've done.
@@lemonbomber1 yes I 100 percent know exactly what you mean thanks so much for watching and commenting. Glad I could help ! Like you pay so much money for the machine and accessories and you can’t print directions. That cost what. Cents. Come on
What I'm not liking about the factory rear flaps is they are so wide or oversized that when looking at them from behind(about 20 ft or so) it makes the rear tire look so skinny or lost, just looks awkward to me, i may get the Musology and just add the rears.
@@Muffin192213 yeah that is a good point you Brought up. Hopefully I plan on getting larger tires. So we’ll see what they look like with those flaps. Glad I could help you
@@tipsyrippers I have a set I'm going to put on, 265/70/17 not much larger than stock 255/70's but that's as big as i want to go.
@ I was thinking about going with a +25 offset wheel. Same size. And then a 285/70/17. You have to retain the factory width. Really if you want to run stock wheels. Also keep that in mind
Hey with the Ford one guys! Thank you for comparing and sharing.

Thanks for overview man and I will say I would rather have the factory ones over those ones. They just seem brittle and like you mentioned easy to cake with grime. I feel like they would look better on a edge or explorer maybe lol
@@ImportRacer4Life yeah it maybe a focus too lol. But hey for $60 there a pretty solid buy still. If I didn’t have the factory ones I would run these
Good job! So are you going with the new ones or putting the Ford ones back on!

Hey, I missed the live but just want to say congrats on your first 1,000 subs, man! It's so awesome to see. Valid comment
As already stated, it would definitely be nice to have a clamp that could hold a blade with a wider spine. However, I think that a sharpener of this form factor is always going to have some limitations due to the space available - in terms of both the length and height available for the clamp. A clamp for a wider spine could lead to a larger overall package (taller clamp), or an increase in jaw flex (if you removed metal between the jaws). This could compromise the clamping force on a thin blade, as well as limit how low a sharpening angle you could achieve on a narrow blade (without the stone hitting the clamp). Having a longer clamp would assist in lowering the sharpening angle, but would again lead to a larger overall package. Once Xarilk decided on the size/form factor for the sharpener, they then had to decide what blades the clamp should work with within the limitations. An extra mm or so of clamp adjustment would be great, but they were never going to be able to make a folding sharpener of this size - and without additional parts - that would be able to put a low angle edge on both thick and thin spined knives, and knives with low blade depths. What I would like to see added would be a second stop collar, to prevent overtravel on both the up and down stroke of the stone. Also add some o-rings or a couple of short springs to act as buffers to provide a soft rather than hard stop. More an accessory than something that I think should be included out of the box, but a third stop collar could be added to one of the vertical rods above the angle adjustment carriage. That could then function as a stone thickness compensator.
Very good assessment man. You always sacrifice some form of performance when making a product that is smaller. Although I’d feel like this should be targeted to edc knives at the reason for making it a system that breaks down. With that being said, I understand what you are referring to about changing the jaws or the clamp itself would a change to the overall sharpener. As it stands now, as I mentioned this feels to be an edc sharpener and not a kitchen knife sharpener. With the amount it weighs already, adding a slight mass increase wouldn’t implicate its compact-fullness. I think you’d gain an overall better use of the system because let’s all agree this isn’t targeted towards portability as it is targeted to the foldability of the sharpener. I think they did a great job regardless and I really love the style and ingenuity.
Oh definitely - within the limitations they had, they have done a great job. 👍
