My step-dad had throat cancer a couple years ago and now he is cancer free. I hope that for Joe also. I hate cancer. My Mom and little sister both passed from cancer. Love and prayers

I am so glad you updated us. Been wondering how he is doing now and to see him sitting beside you is a wonderful sight! I am severely claustrophobic so I really feel for Joe going through that. The hospital providing housing is a huge blessing. The biggest blessing is that Joe has made it through and is there with you! ❤

I hope the hospital got you guys a social worker. If they haven’t look into that in Texas. I’m sure you already know all of this but just in case you didn’t ❤❤❤ they have lots of foundations just to help support you guys mental and financially during this process, please find one near you. They bring food, help with housing, give you mental health support as a caregiver. You guys got this ❤ praise God he made it through such a rough, painful surgery. God is right there with you guys I just know it.

I’ve been sick for a few months and there not to sure what’s going in with me. But I will let you know you give me courage to face this. Thanks you so very much for sharing
You are so right that not everyone that gets cancer dies. Not even close actually. My father got diagnosed with throat cancer. It is a nasty type of cancer that strips you of the ability to eat swallow and eventually breath. They doctors here in Boston gave my dad surgery, chemo and radiation. It was so hard, so hard for him. The side effects of chemo and radiation are so hard. My dads brain was changed some because of the radiation directly on his head. The had that creep mask to lock his head in for radiation like you showed. It was so hard for him. But he fought through!!! And he is in remission!!!! Has been for 2 years almost!! He did WAY better then we expected and he kicked cancer’s ass! No permanent damage like they said would happen. He is exactly the same as he was before, besides he chokes on food sometimes but now my mom cuts his food small. There is so much hope and help! You guys will be just fine ❤ seeing how Joe got through that horrific surgery show how insanely strong you guys are. God please help this family, they need you right now ❤ so much love!
