I love Geothermal hotspots, and enjoying them in the rain. The Rotorua area is definitely going to have to be checked out on my way to Gisborne. Thanks for your videos!
If you're still in the Rotorua area, I would recommend checking out Canopy Tours... combining ziplining and conservation...I did it a couple of years ago and it was amazing, but I hear it is even better now after a recent expansion.
Awesome thanks for the tip Andrew! We'll try to fit it in our (already crazy) Rotorua itinerary! Can't promises anything but we'll try! Any other recommendation in the area?
Nice one! Is it the one toward the Wai-O-Tapu geothermal Park? We have it on our list of things to do if time permits haha We have had to move quite a few activities around already to try to fit it all... Good problem to have, Rotorua has so much to offer! Also, I blame Robin's French accent for the mispronunciation, I'll make him read your comment right away ;)
Another amazing video I Learned about the explosion of mt tarawera it's really interesting how the explosion happened I got to go into the center on the now dead volcano and slide down one of the slopes it was really fun and overall and great experience.
Yeah the History of Mt Tarawera is quite fascinating! We actually have plans to get there real soon, keep an eye up for that video coming up! There's so much to do in Rotorua!
Pohutu Geyser is the largest.
I heard Whakarewarewa was the largest geyser field in the country. I think they have the largest geyser too.
They all have something great for you to see. Just pick your fav' ❤️💚💙🧡
I remember going to Orakei Korako when my kids were little. At that time you could walk right down into the cave to the water at the bottom
Oh wow, that must have been awesome! Have you been again since?
wow this is something to see... I'll add it to my evergrowing list to things to do...
Haha your list must be getting way too long by now!

Lady Knox's geyser. Goes off at 11 am each morning. Free. It is pronounced geeser as in tweezer or Guyser as in wiser.

Wonderful photography. Well done, you have certainly captured the area. So beautiful, but wasnt there A TERRIBLE PONG?
Haha! You know, weirdly it wasn't as bad as Rotorua city centre! Sometimes it really hits you as you are driving in 😜
Was my experience too...worse in the town
Hi guys, how long does it take for the whole experience including the boat time?
Heya :) It really depends how fast you walk and how long you want to be there. We chose to spend about 2 hours there :)
@@NZPocketGuide thank you ^^
