Walking on those boardwalks look beautiful yet terrifying at the same time. There are no railings! I'd be afraid to slip into that boiling water. But the surrounding nature is astounding. Taking a sea plane there, then a boat, makes it appear so remote! 👌
We just got back from New Zealand. We were at Orakei Korako a month ago and were blown away by the beauty of this. We decided to go to this geothermal area as it seemed less crowded and the fact that you will have to hop on the little boat to get there made it even more special.

Such a cool place, isn't it? Friends in Taupo took me 3 years ago and it blew me away! So much calmer than the more commercial ones and even better that it's managed by the local iwi 🙂

Yes!!! Loved it. Have you visited the park at Te Puia? Lots of geysers there plus the show and dinner are spectacular.
Yup we've been to Te Puia, that kai there is insanely good!
