    If using a Cricut Easy Press like I am, how would you modify this method?

    • @FullHouseFancies
      @FullHouseFancies  4 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@hailish24 as long as your press gets hot enough, I don’t think you would have to modify it much. Not sure how high the timer goes on an Easy Press, but the pressing of the print would be about the same if it goes high enough. The only problem you might run into is the laminate part. It takes some pressure and I’m not sure you’d want to stand there pressing on it for that long.

      Hi! Yes, it’s called a heat press. That’s actually my old press, I have a TransPro press now. I’ve never painted one so I’m not sure about that. The shine comes from the glossy tiles.

    Thank you for sharing your video. I do have a question I am just now sublimating my tiles I used to just do vinyl work on them. The ones I have are the really small ones should I do the same time that you are stating above in your video on those two or should I cut the time?

    • @FullHouseFancies

      It’ll probably take the same amount of time unless they’re really thin. You can check it several times throughout the process, just be careful not to cause ghosting when checking it.

    Hi there. I just seen this video. I loved it. I have a question though. if I am making coasters with a 4 x 4 tile will the coaster be able to take heat from something like a coffee cup that has hot coffee with the laminate on the tile. I just started doing sublimation on sub tiles but i have a lot of regular tiles from home depot that I was thinking I could laminate so I can sublimate on the tiles.

    • @FullHouseFancies

Obviously I want to protect the images so that the backsplash can be cleaned but how can I do that? I can't put another laminate sheet on top of design because the colors will bleed, correct? Please help! I need to make 100-150 tiles and I would REALLLY love to prove the Hubby wrong! 😁 Thank you so much!!

    • @FullHouseFancies
      @FullHouseFancies  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry I didn’t see this earlier. As long as the laminate stays on the tiles, the sublimated image would be permanent. Not sure if the laminate would stand the test of time in the kitchen though. With light wipe downs and if it’s not really close to the stove etc, I think it could work.
