Hi Nicole thank you for watching yes I would definitely try that just to see if it works I’ve been hearing about it so let’s test it out soon thank you so much for watching Smoochez
Hi Denise, if you would like something more permanent, you will have to get the coasters that are meant for sublimation, on the polyurethane. It’s all right but sometimes it don’t take it could be the user so if I was you test it out and try it. Thank you so much for watching.
Hi Brenda, I end up pressing the lamination only for like 10 seconds because you just wanna tack it on and then you do the sublimation for 60 seconds. I hope this helps. Thank you so much for watching.❤️❤️
@@spyrorocks346 thank you so much for your response. I have made a couple but I’m not sure my surface is just not smooth like I wanted to look so I don’t know what the deal is with that if you have any suggestions, please let me know. Thank you so much for your response, I have made a couple but I’m not sure like I wanted to look. Thanks again.
Hi Dolores, no it is not glaze if I can recall this video. I’ve done it with lamination sheets and I was just using them as decoration. You can peel it off and put another design later. Thank you so much for watching.
wondered same thing - detail was left out best I can determine. Also details about putting tile on top of artwork during heat press. How much time under the heat press for sublimation? Lots missing.
OMG Gloria....WOW Your Tiles turned out Spectacular...Gosh Girl you really came up with another Super Fun Idea and it was Super Fun Watching you Sublimate on your Ceramic Tiles....I too would love to see you sublimate using the polysilicon!! You sure did a Super Incredible Creative job!! You are so talented!! Again TFS this was so much fun !! YOU DO ROCK!! Joan Smith
Surely you should leave the tiles to cool because while the tiles are hot the colours will start to sublimate before putting back under the heat press 🤔
OK how are you doing today? Hope you’re having a good day just to let you know do you REALIZE that this video is over two years and nine months old you got some nerves? I’m glad you unsubscribe I don’t need you in my community. Beautiful work. I will try to this. Thank you so much
Hi Shanthony thank you yes definitely try it the effects really come out super cool so glad you enjoy thanks for watching Smoochez
Hi Gloria. Thanks for sharing. I would love to see it with the polysilicon. Looking forward to that video.

Thank you for this. I have been trying to get my laminate sheets to stick
Thank you so much. I'm just starting sublimation & I did a tile & it did come out glossy now I see I have to use laminating paper.👍🏾
Is it the same with the one we use to laminate paper (name card, etc)
beautiful, can it hold the heat of a hot mug without messing up?
Thank you I am going to try it
Did you heat press for 20 seconds with shiny side of the vinyl up or down?
Yes I did press for 20 second or shiny side up so the heat plate can touch the lamination. Thank you so much for watching.
So cute 😊
Yes I would like the polyurethane or something to make it more permanent for selling or just giving it as a gift.

@@spyrorocks346 um, it isn't Polyurethane that you use. If you use that, you will have a huge toxic mess! Polycrylic is what you want.
Polycrylic! Polyurethane is flamable.
Have you tried it with a porous tile? It maybe permanent.
How long did you press the laminate on the tile

Can you tell me if your tile was glazed or unglazed? Thank you

From the looks of the tile I would say they were glazed tile.
Why does the laminate come off though? I've tried it and it just peeled off. Do I supposed to wait til the laminate cools down after sublimation?
thermal laminate does not stick well. Use clear outdoor permanent vinyl for best results. Oracal 651 best.
That is really nice. What type of heat press are you using and how did you get the image on the sheets. And yes the poly silicon would be a yes.👍🏽😷
at what temp do you heat the lamination to the tile?
wondered same thing - detail was left out best I can determine. Also details about putting tile on top of artwork during heat press. How much time under the heat press for sublimation? Lots missing.
Love this! Thank you
You're so welcome! glad you enjoy Tfw.
Very nice. Is there a way to avoid the tape marks on the images. Is the anything besides to put on back besides cork?
cut images bigger than tile and tape from back onto the paper. Full house Francis has a tutorial that i go by and they come out perfect.

Thank You so Much!
yeah do the polycrilic
You got it! thank you for watching.
How long did you heat the tile to laminate the sheet to it? BTW the tiles are beautiful
hi there., can these be used as coasters . can a hot cup of tea be placed on it or will the laminate melt
Does not melt but will cause the laminate to come loose and fall off. Use Oracal 651 vinyl for better results
Does the polycrylic have to be cured in the oven?
No, you can let it dry in the air. Takes 24 to 48 hours depending on the thickness. The oven just helps it dry faster.
What do I do if I don’t want my image to peel off?
You can run it under water and wash it off. 😊
Yes please

Thank you so much! Joan it was so much fun.
What temps do you set your press to
385° 10 seconds for laminate then 385° - 400° 240-seconds for sublimation. Put tile face down on top of artwork.
Surely you should leave the tiles to cool because while the tiles are hot the colours will start to sublimate before putting back under the heat press 🤔
Your sound is muffled in and out. This makes it hard to understand you at 100%

Virtually useless application if the laminate comes off that easily
Lmao wait for the glue to adhere, cut and print. How will it come off?
