As a father i am a pushover for Father and Daughter stories! My daughter who is 39 now, has ridden on motorcycles with me since she was 8. I too had many good memories with just the 3 of us "bike included":). As happy as i am for you, your memories and your bike, I am so very happy my daughter never caught the bug. LOL. I have a 2016 Eldorado and share your love of Guzzi. They have a soul. Be well and happy riding.
That was great! And I do love my V7 III Special. I have other bikes but there is something indescribable about the feel and sound of that engine and the bike is simply beautiful.
My father who passed away a couple of years ago, relatively young at 61, had a guzzi le mans 5 whilst I was a young lad growing up. I used to bug him always to let me get it out the garage and I'd sit there on the drive reving it with a grin on my face. I wish he'd never sold that bike, if I knew what happened to it I'd buy it in a heart beat. But for me now, looking at getting back into biking after a while out of it, it's hard for me to think of getting anything other than a guzzi. I believe that's the passion and emotion talked about right there.

Gran bella moto , ho avuto una v7 rough ma purtroppo per pochi mesi perché dopo una vita in sella a una ducati non sono stato capace di adattarmi alla guzzi... l'ho guidata solo per un migliaio di km ma è stata capace di lasciarmi un vuoto incolmabile che si ripropone tutte le volte che sento il rombo di un bicilindrico di Mandello.
My Norge 1200 has been stood for 2 years at my friends home, because I cannot afford to fix her, people ask me why don't you sell the bike, but I just cannot bring myself to sell, hopefully some day soon I'll be able to earn the money to fix her and ride again. Love my Moto Guzzi.

I have a V9 and I have never had a problem with heat on my knees. Guzzis have soul you either love them or hate them. I love them.
