Very good review. Your review of Voltas Beko dishwashers had prompted me to buy a Voltas Beko dishwasher. Now I may buy an Air Fryer. Despite Air Fryers being often compared with Microwave ovens, Air Fryers have been able to make a distinct place for themselves, as people have become more health conscious.
Hi Atul sir, can't compare them to microwave, but some ovens these days have a slim fry mode that can be used in place of Air Fryers. Let me know how it goes for you :)
@@TheGrapevineIndia LG's microwave with Charcoal filament claims to cook anything. It has 301 recipes menu, which can be cooked in microwave. Charcoal microwave is really very efficient and does a decent job. We have made finger chips, chicken nuggets and many dishes which were tasty and presentable. Charcoal microwave also makes lots of curries with tomato catchup being the integral part of recipe. I believe that Charcoal microwave is very close to the Air Fryer but as Air Fryer has a typical heating mechanism, microwaves lag behind the Air Fryer. I will test some more recipes to give my final assessment.

I like your review..While I haven't used all, I have seen a few. Here is my observation.. I have used Philips personally for last 8 years (early adopters)..
a.) there is a huge misconception about Air fryers .. people need to understand its just a convection oven with fan.
b.) cleaning is always a difficult thing with all
c.) digital display don't mean a thing, because cooking time (nor temperature gradient) if observed slightly are not going to make much diff..
And like you correctly said, base makes a lot of difference.
You can re-heat a Pizza in airfyrer within few minutes... and its Yum.. (no comparison to microwave)

Hi Tushar, I already have a microwave with convection oven - which I’ve used for air frying food as well - like I mentioned in this video. I won’t buy an air fryer separately 😊 But towards the end of the video, I’ve listed the criteria- take a look.

Hi @SF - I'm guessing you are referring to this one amzn.to/3B7BhQL. The product is great, it is an improved version of a basic OTG. In addition to air frying (which can also be performed in a regular OTG), I think the value of this product is the rotisserie, dehydrating capability and the accessories they are giving.

I wanted to buy an Airfryer only with stainless steel accessories and found recently Varada airfryer Max 12ltrs is with stainless steel. Any feedback on that model ?. Hearing this brand name for first time.
Hi Maheshwari, I looked at this one amzn.to/3yG1pkf and it does not seem to have a stainless steel accessory. Most often the trays in air fryers are aluminium. The brand seems to be good though, you can go for it

Hi Durga, the Eureka Forbes Vac and Mop follows a random pattern and does not have intelligence to know which parts of the room are clean and which is not. The best practice is to leave it in a room for enough time - you will get over 90% cleaning. In general - the normal mode works good and then if you want the edges to be cleaned better, you can put it in edge cleaning mode. Edge cleaning just makes the robot vacuum go along the edges rather than bounce around the room randomly.

How is the customer care n services for Nutricook? I have LG Charcoal 3 in one but the display stopped working like 6 months after purchase, and the service center first said that I have to pay 9000 bucks for a replacement of the same before the guy even looked at it. So now I need a fryer.
Hi Surekha, I have not heard issues with Nutricook services, but it all depends on the area you live in. But - one thing I have heard consistently across brands is that warranty and after sales is in general unreliable.
Ma'am have you used STOK airfryer? How much time does it takes to cook ? Is SToK an Indian company ?? And what about after sales service of SToK company?
And between Philips and STOK AIRFRYER which will you prefer??

Hi Harveen, product is manufactured in China but I believe its an Indian company. Philips is tried and tested but does not have s digital display. Stok and Nutricook amzn.to/3wGBckW amzn.to/35uhJI7 are good based on the size you wanna consider.

Hi Santosh - do you mean the outer body - both are OK. Depends on which look you like - the Nutricook ones come with a Stainless steel exterior and the rest are mostly plastic.

any words on teflon coating inn air fryers ? how to be safe from it ?
Hi! In general - best way to be safe from teflon is not use it. But I understand it's not possible in case of air fryers as most of them come with non-stick pans. In general - you have to be careful in washing vessels with coating - never use harsh brushes / scrubs that can cause scratches. If there are scratches, immediately replace it. Make sure you use wooden / silicon spatulas only (no steel spatulas).

Hi Keshav, I was looking for a stainless steel container in air fryer - but was not able to find any so far. That would be the best option, when available. Thats one of the reason why we get a bit more flexibility when we use a microwave with convection that also has a air fry mode - you can use utensils like ceramic instead. Air fryer is not of much use when tou have a good microwave oven. I have LG charcoal microwave oven.

Air Fryer has slightly specialized method of cooking, where super hot air comes from the bottom of the fryer and direct heat comes from the top. If you have used LG Charcoal model microwave for cooking with slightly lesser oil, kindly share your experience.
