The opening shot was shot at my old school in Long Eaton, Derbyshire - not a place I'd call a shit hole. Nottingham, despite what the southern-biased television media report it to be, is actually a very nice place. While it has terrible places such as St. Annes, the Meadows, Bulwell, etc. (where many of my family live), the city itself to me, is actually very safe, clean and if I'm honest, something to be proud of! :)
Well well well. I've seen my share of movies, but you'll struggle to find a better, musical introductory, showreel than this. And thats a fact. Doesn't really matter what anyone says.
+Omar 1995 During the time there was a conference and a bunch of people were taken hostage, the men you see outside are the SAS (British special Forces) and they killed most gunmen along with 1 taken to the police, luckily not one hostage was wonded during the rescue but 1 did die
This is England was shot in Nottingham (including areas from both Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire) and Grimsby. But lol it is funny when people look at Nottingham and the North Midlands. They go: "God, I thought that was up North!". Not at all, lol. The Midlands has its shit holes like the North.
@TheMovieBuffKid She was definitely like the Ronald Reagan of Britain (there's a reason you see them both together in the video):They both espoused the same economic policies that favour big business over the majority, the consequences of which are being felt around the world today. "Thatcherism" and "Reaganomics" are practically synonyms, also known as "Neoliberalism". My take naturally, but the policies I refer to are real, unfortunately.
In Britain, we can make GREAT movies without budgets that would ruin entire countries.
ayyy lmao exactly
Because Americans over do EVERYTHING
Everything is try hard
Depends on the movie. Britain produces its fair share of crap, too.
