Which phone would you pick? Also... Who misses the mini iPhone?!? What is apple even doing getting rid of that!
I have the 13PM and just love it. I did get the 15 pro for work and it’s nice but not worth upgrading from 13 pro in my opinion. Plus, green is my favorite color.
I still have my mini but I went to a repair shop and now I’m stuck with no Face ID
@@user-qy3mt9hx4goh dang that sucks! Is that the phone you’re using or did you have to get a new one once that stopped working?
I still use iphone 14 pro and wait 16 pro to upgrade.
@@egertkabilattekivi2496 Nice!! It's hopefully going to be a pretty sweet phone
Only upgrade iPhones if it’s borderline unusable. Even a 12 pro is still a solid buy
I think that’s some really solid wisdom. What phone do you currently use?
Still using my 11, pretty solid but it'll need a new battery
Yeah that’s what my mom and dad are still using and they work great.
@@JonAdamsTech I have a 14 pro coming from a 11 pro that started to slow down on me
OR if your carrier will give you a free phone if you willing to trade in. Verizon wants to give me a new 15 pro for my 13 pro max. For me this is something I would do as i want a smaller phone.
There's not enough differences between a 13 pro and a 15 pro to justify upgrading
I 100% agree
Probably to a layperson who has no idea how tech works
Or it may be just someone who has different values than having the bleeding edge of tech. I find my self on that bleeding edge side but I get why people wouldn’t want to do that.
We need a smaller dynamic island for me to upgrade (I have iPhone 13), current dynamic island hangs a bit too low for my liking hopefully we get some big changes this year.
Yeah we will see. It hasn’t bothered me but I’ll always take a smaller obstruction to the screen. I really wish they would give the under screen camera a shot
Upgraded from iphone x after 5 years. Totally worth it 👏🏻
That’s awesome! What phone did you go with?
I think that nowadays any kind of high end phones is not worthing to upgrade based on new features, because we don't have anymore something that is really "new"
Yep I agree! What phone do you use?
Even a budget phone work fine now these days if you not a photographer and barely play hard-core game on your phone
Have iPhone 13 Pro not upgrading until 17 or 18. I just going to change battery in a couple of months. Battery health is currently at 87%. I think the sweet spot is upgrading every 4 years. I use upgrade every year. This the longest i had a phone for.
Well back in the day there were huge upgrades every time so it was somewhat justified but now it’s such small changes so I agree every 4 to 5 years is spot on. Thanks for checking out the video Nemo!
We’re can I go to replace the battery.
@@zayzay97toxhubby depends on where you live, google iphone repair shop around you and you should find a place.
Thank you
Why would you change a baterry in 87% health. 87 health is still a very good health of a baterry. I'd advise you not to change your baterry.
Only upgrade your phone when you can’t get the updates anymore or if they’re almost unusable
Yep! What phone you rocking Jonathan?
then just jailbreak.
So u get motorola phones(buy it and then buy another one)
They get unusable only if they're water damaged or by planned obsolescence
Even the 11 Pro Max I purchased for $150 is working perfectly fine. Don't buy anything below 11 series or you'll suffer terrbile battery life. 2019 iPhones got very efficient processors
Yep!
I respect any Man that can have a clear case on their phone and not be annoyed enough to clear the dust out of it every 23 seconds.
Haha it’s my superpower
Bro , i have a iphone 13 pro max. Honestly i never felt the need to upgrade to the latest and the greatest every year.
This does all the work i needed and battery life is also great.
I will be keeping this phone for rest of the years until it worked fine.
Nice, glad you like it!
I went through a phase of swapping phones within a year. I had the iPhone 12 PM, then the 13 PM, then the 14 PM, and then back to the 13 PM. I switched every three months. I know it was stupid to switch phones within a year, but I just wanted to try it. Finally, I ended up getting a 14 Pro with 256 GB. One thing I realized is that because of iOS, iPhones will feel the same. The most important things for me are the screen refresh rate, storage, camera, and size. I used to have the Max phones, but they were just too big for me. Now, I am back to the regular Pro, which I still think is big compared to my old XS, but at least it's more usable than the Max versions. I will stick with the 14 Pro until it dies.
I’ve been there too! Glad you landed on a solid phone
I set my action button to go into Focus Mode. I like the idea that I can hit a button and silence notifications calls and everything across all of my devices at the same time for as long as I need to.
Yeah that’s a solid use for it! Good idea!
I've got a 14 pro max, i got it on release day and haven't seen any need at all to upgrade
That’s great! What do you think they’d have to add to get you to upgrade?
why am i watching a iphone video, i got a android lmao
Haha you’ve been summoned for a very important reason
That's me all the time I'm watching this on my S_23U
I watch all kinds of phones videos because I love tech, I have an S24U
Me too lol I just like watching tech stuff. @@achimbyron8340
Upgraded from a 11 Pro Max 64gb to a iPhone 14 Pro 256gb mainly because of updated 5G/LTE modems (constant dropped calls in my area) battery life, storage, and better display. Purposely didn’t get Pro Max because of screen size and ever since I have drastically decreased on-screen time and scrolling.
Nice, yeah I’ve wanted to do an experiment and see how low I can get my screen time to, it’s getting ridiculous how much I pick up my phone these days
I have an iPhone 14 and got it new when it came out nearly 2 years ago. It still holds up well, does everything I need it to and its durable. Realistically this phone could probably last me 4+ years before I want a new iPhone.
Totally. That phone ruled.
I had an iPhone 8 for 5 years, ever since 2019. I only just upgraded to a 15 a couple days ago, and I'll probably only upgrade again when the iPhone 19 or 20 comes out. I will make this one last 5 years as well.
That’s great! What color 15 did you go with?
On a serious note, any iPhone from the 12 and up it’s still a good pick, there’s a lot of repair shops that replace the battery for cheap, IF the battery is the problem, cause usually it’s only a faulty battery’s fault for the processor underperforming on 2+ year devices…
Yeah that’s some good advice!
I’ve had a 13 pro since launch. The only issue mine has given me is the battery. The dilemma I’m facing is I can replace my battery which requires me to wipe the phone anyway or just get a new one and upgrade to the 15 pro.
I don’t think you can go wrong either way. I upgraded to the 15 pro and love it but I’m sure it’s significantly cheaper to do a new battery. Which way are you leaning?
If you wanna get a new phone just wait until the 16 drops
Yep^ This year
Well, I just got the 15 Pro because I wanted better camera and macro, it is not my main phone as that still belongs to my 13 mini which to me is the perfect size iphone and cameras are excellent for regular usage but wanted a macro again the the 15 Pro with titanium and size wise yet bigger was not overwhelming like the prior 11 Pro Max I had before the 13 Mini, just to large and heavy for me, sticking with 13 Mini and 15 Pro for now, I do hope they eventually release a Iphone flip version to consider next time around.
I know a flip version of the iPhone would be so sweet, I’m all about less/smaller stuff in my pockets. Thanks for checking out the video!
I have the IPhone 13 Pro and I have it since December 2021 the longest I’ve ever held onto an iPhone, due to the fact it was obviously built to last, the battery would last two days when I first got it for a few months, now the battery health is on 85% but I’d say that’s decent since how long I have it,the upgrades aren’t worth it for the 15s and probably be the same with the 16s,I might just get a new battery when this one gets noticeable bad,atm the phone still lasts the entire day
That’s great, glad it’s working so well for you. I really hope tech moves in that direction of lasting longer, gotta be the best way for companies to be “green”
I still have the 13 pro max. I'm not upgrading until I see some more changes/ upgrades. I'm not seeing much change on the 15 Promax.... my s24 ultra is my daily driver...great video
That’s awesome, thanks for checking out the video! When a new phone comes out will you still rock that Samsung as your daily phone?
Got same combo. My 13 pm says it’s still a 100%. Since I only use it for work O have to charge it every 3 days.
13 mini user. Best iPhone. Use to upgrade my iPhone every year until 13 Mini.
Hah I know it’s amazing isn’t it! My only hope is that they make a foldable phone that will be the size of the mini when unfolded then freaking tiny when it’s folded in your pocket. Think you’d upgrade if they do that?
Been using my iPhone 11 pro for 4 years, now upgraded to 15 pro. Such changes for people like me i think it’s because it’s my first time to have a usb-c port, mute button changed to action button and the dynamic island from standard notch. Plus, love the Natural Titanium color 🩶
Those are all great things! I definitely love the color
I currently own a XS max i had new since Autumn 2018 & it at 88% health in its original battery. Should i upgrade to 13 pro, 15pro or wait till 16pro? How much upgrade would it be to justify the price?
Ya know you may want to wait for the 16 pro and just start saving now.
7:41 neither large 6.7" max/plus variant nor small 5.4" mini discontinued variant
6.1" vanilla variant is the sweet spot
Totally
Same thing for the Samsung S series base model and the Ultra one. There's things in both that makes me like both phones so much, but holding it, I find the S23 base model more ergonomic.
Great ! I’m still using my iPhone 12 Pro 256gb. Recently took it to the Apple Store for a replacement battery and now it’s like a brand new phone from where I purchased new. No sluggish still going strong.
Nice!!
In my opinion it was worth it for me to get the 15 Pro-Max from a Regular-Model iPhone 13 with 6.1inch display!
It’s more comfortable to hold (caseless) thanks to the slightly rounded-off corners than my older one was, I can now take up some Macro-Photography and I like the larger display for watching TH-cam. I have the Pro-Motion display now that my 12.9 iPad Pro has and thanks to its USB-C port I can plug in a hub for my Modal-Electronics Cobalt5S Synthesizer, that has a Free App & VST Plugin for building sounds & patches.
Hello, I need some advice, I've been using a cheap Android phone for 4 years and I need to change it because it's very slow, I was thinking about the iPhone 15 pro, I want to hold the phone as long as possible, what would you recommend me? Thank you!
Yeah if you want the phone to last as many years as possible then definitely go with the 15 pro, you won’t be disappointed!
Get the s24 ultra samsung that the best phone u need to get samsung always better than iphone period

I have the iPhone 13 mini and if possible, I will never willingly opt for a larger phone. This is the ideal size for a phone.
That was Steve Jobs ideal, he wanted a phone that you could always reach the corner while using it with one hand. Thanks for checking out the video Frank!

Hey Jon, I'm planning to buy my first iphone this year and after researching a lot, 14 pro/pro max seems like a good choice, as it fits into my budget and usage. I am currently using Redmi k20 pro and i have used it for more than 5 years. Now coming to my usage, i use phone for mostly watching movies, listening to music and for heavy gaming. What are your opinion on 14 series and would you suggest me any other series/model of iPhone as per my usage?
Nah I think you nailed it and since you like gaming a lot I’d definitely go for the Mac version for that screen real estate and better battery!
@@JonAdamsTech thanks a lot brother😄

Okay! Does it really make a lot of difference in day to day life when we compare type c on 15 pro vs lightning on 14 pro?
stay away by all means.. the battery life is a travesty, regardless of what ios build you are using..
i have 15 Pro Max upgraded from 13 Pro Max. i decided to sell my 15 Pro Max because not much difference compared to 13 Pro Max. Rather use extra money towards second car or stocks.
Haha that’s probably a way better use of your money. Thanks for checking out the video
Finally upgraded to a 15 pro from an XS yesterday due to declining battery life. It definitely makes more sense giving it 4-5 years before upgrading because the changes become significant. I’ll miss my XS though, beautiful phone.
Yeah it was a really beautiful design! What color 15 did you go with?
@@JonAdamsTech I considered natural titanium but I went with black. It’s really a beast of a phone and the 120hz screen is incredible. It’s a great time for people with older models to upgrade IMO, there’s a lot of features/upgrades that have accumulated over the years so the 15 pro should be a great phone for a few years to come.
Yep it will!
As someone who just upgraded from iphone 11 to 15 pro max.
I can tell for free, there is no point in upgrading, the IOS is the same. Nothing changed

I have the iPhone 11 Pro Max & Apple Watch Series 5. I have no problem with it besides the watch draining a lot than usual.. I got both since debuted. Probably gonna hold out until the 16 or maybe the 17.. that’s if my phone can last that long
I had the series 3 until about 6 months ago, one thing to do is turn on the theatre mode that way the screen doesn’t turn on till you tap it. You still get all your notifications but just have to tap to make the screen come on.
I’ve upgraded yearly from the 12 to the 15 pro. In all honesty, it wasn’t worth it. I wish I would’ve just kept my 13 pro as it didn’t get much better after that. The 15 pro feels perfect to me though. I switched because of the reduced weight from the 14 and now I feel content. I just bought a 13 pro about a week ago. I am absolutely loving the experience. I’ve been an android user since forever and this is my first iPhone and I couldn’t be happier. I plan to use it for at least 4 years. Maybe then I’ll find justification in upgrading to the latest model. But I honestly believe the 13 pro was one of the greatest phones ever made.
Dang that’s great, glad to hear you’re liking your experience! I agree that phone is so amazing!
I used an iPhone for a year and didn’t like it.
Biggest annoyances:
No dedicated back button
Keyboard is terrible
Predictive text is awful
Can’t relocate icons
Voice to text was unreliable
Also TH-cam on iPhone is finicky and sometimes gets stuck in landscape mode and you have to press a million buttons to back out of landscape.
Im keeping my iphone 13 pro max for 2 more years. The dynamic island is lower than the notch so distracting and it gets to much bigger i really dont have any use for it. I have to bring a Lightning cable anyway cause of my airpods pro and ipod touch 5g (yes, im still using it) so the usb-c option is not a must have for me (i also have an android phone as second device. Always on display is something i cant stand and as an old android user i tried it for like 2 days and turned it off since then. The action button is so useless to me as it takes away the usability of having a faster way to switch your iphone to silent mode (even if you set it up as silence mode it will be not as fast as the switch). I wait until they bring better and more useful features to upgrade my phone.
Dang that’s amazing that you still use an iPod, mad respect for that! How is that thing holding up?!
@@JonAdamsTech i have many games on it and some of them can still run without any problems. I usually use it for music when i go to the gym and for netflix (sadly it stopped working 2 days ago). The device itself its still working for the most of the things i use it for and beside the battery draining fast and some lags with heavier use its quite enjoyable. Sadly youtube (and anything with google services) is not working anymore not even on safari. The device its stuck at ios 9.5.3 so its pretty limited on features.
iPhone 13 still has physical sim card which can come in handy. I prefer 13 for this reason alone right now.
I had the iPhone 12 Pro since it launched back in 2020, the battery was starting to show its age. I ended up upgrading to the iPhone 15. I’ve been two years with a 13 Pro Max and I’m going to keep this thing for 3-4 more years.
I bought it in purpose knowing it had excellent battery life (when battery degrades, Apple swaps it for a reasonable fee), it has 6gb of ram as opposed to the 4gb of the 13 (which is future proofing), and a camera system that I’m comfortable having to take good pictures and videos of my memories.
In 3-4 years, I’ll get the latest Pro max and use it for another 5-6 years

Yeah if you have the budget for it I’d definitely go for the 15 just to get the extra time out of the phone!
Ilove the fact the he said when I take a photo I don't know which one is taken with 15 and 13, that is why some people are still rocking with their iphone 11 pro max haha
It’s true, unless you’re a professional making money from your iPhone photography I don’t think it really matters all that much
I upgraded a year ago from an 8 to my current 13 Pro because the 8 was finally starting to get sluggish and have problems. I'm not a photo person, so the camera upgrades aren't an incentive for me. Besides, it's way cheaper (obviously) to just replace the battery and wait to do an upgrade when the technology advancements make it more worth it.
I think that’s a great decision!
Came from the iPhone X to the 13 pro, I have been very lucky in my choices, 2 beast. Until the next beast arrives I will hold on to this 13 pro. I also feel like I don’t need the max because I keep the Mini 6 close by.

The reason I like plugging my phone in vs MagSafe because it’s easier to use the phone while charging at the same time .
I’ve got an Anker (upright) charging stand, and I fitted it with a MagSafe charger. I’ve unplugged the Anker and just use the MagSafe. So I can view and use my iPhone 13 mini while it’s charging. It’s the best of everything.
Bought a new android every year for about ten years. I bought a 13 pro max when it came out and the first time i feel I’ve no reason to upgrade. Tested the 15pro max alongside and everything is just a split second faster. Cameras mean nothing to me as I’m an adult. Zero reason for me. I’ll wait another year and have a look.
Yeah that’s wise man, no reason to upgrade if you don’t find the new phone compelling. What made you switch from android?
Still rocking my 12 Pro Max and feel no pressure to upgrade!
Nice! Hopefully it has a bunch of years left!
i just upgraded from the 13pro to the baseline 15 and im regretting it tbh… well theres nothing much to it besides from it having the type c port which is not really an important thing in my case since lightning port wasnt a problem 🤷
How long ago did you purchase it? You may be able to return it still!
@@JonAdamsTech welp sadly its been over a month now, so I guess I’ll stick to this for a few more years
Upgraded from the iphone 13 pro max to the S24 Ultra this year. Never ever going back to IOS or Apple anytime soon!
Glad you found something you like!
Was using a Samsung Galaxy S10+ before switching to the iPhone 15 Pro Max which I don’t plan to upgrade until maybe 4-6 years or until it’s unusable. I’m under a family plan so my family does not like phone upgrades until it’s unusable and the only reason they accepted me to get a newer phone was due to medical reasons since an app for my health is needed and iOS is optimized for it compared to Android which causes headaches for my doctor and I due to many software issues.
Well I’m glad you found something that works for your health needs! What color pro max did you end up going with?
@@JonAdamsTech Natural Titanium, fell in love with the color when I first saw it. I wanted to use it case less but don't want to risk damaging it so I'm currently switching between the Caudabe Sheath/Synthesis in Gray and Phone Rebel Crystal/Frost case.
@@John_Alter That's great, I love the natural look too!
I still use my '17 Samsung S7 Edge and the experience is still great and the camera never ceases to amaze me for how good it still is even compared to my S24 Ultra. That's the state of current tech, very few improvements and very little innovation :(
Totally true! Have you ever tried an iPhone?
@@JonAdamsTech Thanks, yes ofc , there's an iPhone 13 Pro Max in the house that still rocks!
I come from an iphone 6 plus to 14 plus 128
Is more than enough for my 7,585 songs that i have on my computer, thinking about buying an 8 plus 128gb as a back up, still thinking about it, because they are no more updates for it since 2020, i really don’t want to spend another 250 for a secondary handset!!
Just get a really really good case for your 14, that way you won’t need the backup and it’s much cheaper!
@@JonAdamsTech noo, the reason why i need a 11-12 phone is because i’m going to my country, Honduras and over there you have to be careful, walking around with the 14, cellphone theft is big in that country, so that’s the reason i need the 11-12 with 128 gb, to use while l’m in country, because i’ll feel bad, if they put a gun in my face for the 14 plus, but the other one, well i will accept such fate, because it will be a cheaper phone!!
Im currently using a 13 Mini but im okay with larger sizes until 6 inches. Plus and Pro Max are way too big for me for everyday use
Yeah man, mini is where it’s at!
What If You Have An IPhone 11 Can I Upgrade To The IPhone 15 Pro?
If you have the money you can.
I usually upgrade every year, historically dating back to the 3GS. I was at 11 Pro Max and jumped to 14 Pro Max, then 15 Pro Max. I’m definitely looking forward to 16 Pro Max. I am just a standard parent with an office job mixed with travel. I upgrade because I like tech and I use my phone for absolutely everything from basic phone functionalities to gaming to videoing kiddos. Traveling, I enjoy having the largest battery I possibly can get.
Good! If you have the budget and you like it then why not!
I personally use a 15 pro, which was an upgrade from the 6s+, best purchase I made, insane camera boost, almost double battery, dynamic island, face ID, and all the new IOS features, but I dont plan to upgrade again until prob the 19 or 20, nothing worth spending 1000+$ every 2 years for minor upgrades.
100% agree, and glad you are liking your phone! What color 15 pro did you go with?
@@JonAdamsTech I got the dark grey titanium, almost chose blue but decided against it when I saw how easily the paint scratched
Yeah I love that color though so it's a solid choice
I’m currently using a 14 pro and I dont plan on upgrading until at least the 17 or 18 going to change the battery in a few months. I was going to upgrade just for a new color but its really not worth it!
Yeah I agree it’s not worth it but what color 14 pro do you currently have?
@@JonAdamsTech I have the deep purple color! I really like it but I love pink lol! But its always in a case so I can live with it!!
The purple looks dope tho so it’s still a pretty awesome phone!
I think it’s a waste of money if your phone is still mostly usable, and there are 0 features that you are looking for. I was going to upgrade my 13 PM to 15 PM, but after careful considerations, I don’t think that there are plenty of new features that I will be benefitting from. The BH is still fantastic for my daily usage at 85%, and I can replace it whenever I want to. The only thing that still irks me is the lightning port, since most of my devices are using USB-C cable, as you said, and thankfully I am not going deep into the Apple ecosystem.
I think you made a wise decision to hold off. Thanks for checking out the video!
Great content
Thanks!
Hi, great video! I'm leaning towards changing to Apple in the future, since I have a 15 in my work and the experience has been great! I'll still rock my phone until it falls apart tho. My main device is an Xperia 1 V and truth be told, there isn't a better camera-like phone on the market. 3.5mm, wireless charging, SD Card slot, 4K 120hz, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, i mean... What can i ask more haha
That sounds like a sick phone but I’m all about the Apple ecosystem man, so I think you should definitely switch to an iPhone haha
@@JonAdamsTech yea, I definitely will switch to smth like an iPhone Pro or Pro Max series in the future, but ig I'll still keep the Xperia as a media device!
Good call!
I upgraded from an iPhone SE Second Edition to an iPhone 13 Mini unlocked and have no regrets, got a second camera. Got bands to get Verizon on my US Mobile account. Might upgrade to 512 GB on my next iPhone although I only use 93 GM with 256 GM storage.
That’s awesome, I loved the mini!
the 6.1" size is perfect for me. I compared the 15 to 15pro and most of the features are the same. The extras on the pro is overkill for my use. So a few days ago i traded my 13 in for a 15. The main reason i upgraded was for the better camera. The 15 megapixel count is 4x what the 13 is. I have a huge Apple Music collection so i always get the 512g storage upgrade.
Nice! What color 15 did you go with? I loved that sky blue color on it, looks amazing.
@@JonAdamsTech My 13 was the blue color. So went with the lighter sky blue. I also recently got a iMac 24" in blue.
That's a pretty sick setup tbh
should i pick the iphone 13 pro max? i currently have the samsung a33
Yes. The Apple ecosystem is fantastic!
Still use a XS. If it had an ultrawide camera I wouldn't even think of upgrading, its performance is still really solid and the cameras are still well.
Yeah I use the ultra wide pretty much exclusively so that’s worth it to me!
You all are just finding this out? 😂 It shouldn’t take this video to make people realize how people are getting finessed year after year.
Apple is a pro at it haha
My carrier is willing to give ma a 15 pro for my 13 pro max. So i would upgrade BUT… my 13 pro max has not been slowing down and still last almost all day. Like you said USBC is the reason I would upgrade especially to take advantage of all the fun stuff for USBC like infinityx2p or external storage or the 1 cable for everything.
So that’s one of those cases where I think it’s worth upgrading, that was my exact case and I went for it. If you upgrade what color 15 pro do you think you’ll go with?
@@JonAdamsTech im always using a case on my phone I need to because of my kids. I think the natural titanium is the one id go for
@@yippiecalle421 haha I totally get that, I have a 5 year old and a 8 year old and they both constantly drop stuff
I give it 3 or 4 years to upgrade it. They do little updates year after year but you can tell a big difference after 3 or 4 years
100% true!
Where can i find wallpaper from the begining?
It’s from a guy called Byte Review, look up his channel and he has a digital store with that wallpaper
Has anyone made a video about processor speeds and at what speed needs to be reached before we’re unable to notice speed increases? Similar to how our eyes especially on smartphones can’t notice much of a difference past 1080p. When all cheap phones become fast and have good cameras people definitely will stop upgrading.
I haven’t seen anyone doing that test but it would for sure be interesting
I even still have my iphone 11
And my sister has an iphone xs max
We are not upgrading iphones till our phone dies completely or its now fully unsupported
I mean new iphones only have some small new changes nowadays...
Which means Its just doesnt worth upgrading alot anymore
Haha yeah I actually have the x and it still functions just fine. I really think the next big change will be with a foldable, if they came out with something like that do you think you’d upgrade?
@@JonAdamsTech it depends if i like it or not..
I will just watch some reviews first before buying
@@DarkLatexKing for sure
Nice review 😁 done subscribing!
I appreciate it!
I had a 6 until the X redesign came out. Then I went turn the 15 when it started supporting USB-C. They’re swapping AirPods, the max and the laptops all to usbc so the 15 is worth buying.
Yeah, I went on a trip this week and having everything with USB-C was so helpful, but that’s just a priority for me for some. Their budget is more important than the convenience.
I have a 12 pro with AppleCare. My battery health is at 80%. Once it hits below that, I plan to get a battery replacement and will stay with the 12 pro until its outdated.
That’s smart man! Glad it’s treating you well
I upgraded 13 pro to 15 pro it was a big jump with the Dynamic Island and action button and needed more storage and usb c
Yeah it’s definitely a great upgrade for those of us who value new tech
@@JonAdamsTech now will wait till the 17 line and if the improve ya are good too
Unfortunately my 13pm screen got green after updating it to ios 16. Yes if it was working file i will wait another two years before upgrading. Was a too good of a phone had excellent battery life and literally zero heating
Dang that’s strange
@@JonAdamsTech you can see many phones getting this issue for past one year. Apple hasn’t acknowledged it but some regions they are changing it for free. Mine was among the first so they refused to change the display for free
The larger phone has the bigger of the batteries though so id get probably the 15 plus; or 15 pro max out of the pro series i dont know the difference off the top of my head rn -- i mean at least if its the bigger of the options that is the one i want. And i have currently a iPhone 14 +
Nice! I hate how massive it is but I know a lot of people love having big phones which is great
I wish you brought up the physical SIM card slot, I have a iPhone 13 Pro/iPhone 15 pro and traveling to South East Asia having a Physical SIM card is a MUST! I only use my iPhone 15 pro when I’m back in states because I have to keep changing my SIM card which iPhone 15 is no longer viable on doing so hence why I still use my iPhone 13 Pro more often.
Didn’t even know that was a thing haha sorry! What do you do for work where you’re going to Asia that often?
@@JonAdamsTech yes 13 pro was the last Apple product with a physical SIM card. Most south east Asia countries still uses physical SIM cards, you can get the new phones but it’s locked on the specific carrier you pick and you won’t be able to change. I’m a digital nomad I like traveling around Asia and Australia.
