Glaisdale Rigg is not too far from there, makes a nice easy loop. Rudland seems to have been graded recently, like you, I rode it in January and there were some decent bomb holes full of mud which have disappeared. Have you done Cam High Road and the Roman Road near Hawes ? Similar lanes, but Cam is a little more gnarly on the ascent - I managed to fall off twice a couple of months back doh ! As for the age thing, I’m 64 and only took up trail riding a couple of years ago, no birdwatching for me…well not the feathered kind at any rate. 😂
@@nockianlifter661 I can’t really remember it in January I could barely see 5 foot in front of me with the cloud! Yes I’ve done them and will be revisiting soon they’re the best lanes in the North if you ask me, the Yorkshire Dales has so much to offer.
