I’m so excited to get mine. I had a small knitting machine as a kid (I’m 57 years old) that was called a Knit Magic. It is the same thing only small. I loved that thing. All Barbies had tube dresses and hats. I even made sweaters for the tough group of outdoor dogs. They all had red and white striped sweaters that winter. 😅

@@inspirationlegacy1835 perhaps 48 pins is best as you can make larger projects but I'm not completely sure, sorry

as a size xxl, are sentro knitting machines a good fit to make clothing for me? i’m super nervous because all the sentro projects i’ve seen are from people with smaller frames and i can’t find anyone who makes clothes on them for larger sizes

Yeah, you can definitely make things on the sentro that’ll fit you! You’ll just need to make more panels. One of the first sweaters I made on the sentro was made of four panels and measured 56” around! It’s a bit more work, but is totally doable (and is still a lot less work than hand knitting). I would definitely love to make a video addressing this exact topic, so keep an eye out for a more in depth answer as well!

Learn the mattress stitch or knitting grafting and it will work just the same for you as a skinny person

Yes you can. I make XL and XXL clothes on sentro, you'll have to use several panels, but it works

YES. She has an amazing video on making a swatch, then addapting the pattern to your size, in fact her example uses a med and a 2x.

You can also use icord to make a thicker yarn to use on other looms or hand, neddle knitting.

You can wrap yarn around those balls and pull it tight to make pumpkins, too.

Oohhh! Use crumpled foil for a filler or get some cheap Styrofoam balls from a dollar tree for the ornaments!

Could the eye cord could be used for a draw string???
P.s. i get my Sentro on Wednesday, and I'm so excited. I've been crocheting for years and have a ton of yarn from unfinished projects and shopping sprees. I learned how to knit last week and after grasping the process of what i was doing with the yarn, my brain went to work about an easier and more efficient way to knit and came across this machine. My mother has knit her entire life and I can't wait to show this to her. She's going to lose her mind!!!! Also, my teenage daughters are getting into crochet and making clothes, so I'm hoping they show some interest. New sub.
P.s.s. the shorts about the purse are the reason I'm here. As I was teaching myself how to knit last week, I came across those very shorts, which eventually brought me to this machine. I love that you think they are as great as I did. That's one of the first things I'm going to make. 😉
P.s.s.s I love that you are adding crochet to your projects. That's exactly what I'm planning on doing.

Hi, I am a beginner and recently bought my knitting machine and when I try to make panels the ones at the ends seems to get tangled and more than 2 rows of yarns are stuck there. What should i do?😢

It is not an Ornament. It is actually a Waldorf toy. It's a ball to play with. Must is to stuff it with real wool and also use real wool yarn. No acrylic. Acrylic is made out of an unnatural fiber and in Waldorf Education those are avoided.
