I am tired of everyone blaming clubs like they are greedy.
80-90% of clubs outgoings are to players and agents wages hence why they need more games from ucl or super league to boost revenue.
Less games = less wages which is why the schedule is only going to grow because the PFA won’t allow salary caps
Most clubs are at an operating loss and 2/3 bad seasons from being in a bad shape and most clubs are only valuable via assets price not p/l.
The fans will always bare the brunt because they have our hearts but the root cause isn’t ownership greed it’s an unsustainable football economic landscape which hasn’t been helped by the PSGs Chelsea’s and man cities with purposeful hyper inflation but not directly their fault.
