I wish that in my time I also had someone who had taught me the tricks.
Your son is so lucky that he is getting lessons from one of the best tinters.

Ralph if you only knew how much I appreciate this video. When I say I've wasted $1,000's of dollars trying to shrink film and creasing it over and over. I went from a hour to an hour and a half to more like 30 mins with not one crease. I owe you big time!!! I am absolutely grateful for this video.

From Kenya am a big fan of your very informative videos, they literally taught me heat shrinking back and front window tints.

In the beginning of the video when he introduced his second born son Ryan, he did not look too excited to be there I almost wanted to say a blink twice if you need help! Another Great Video Ralph.

Man thank you for this video Ralph! Your window tint teaching vids are among the top on the internet. Hope your son follows in your footsteps!
The first car I shrank was a crown vic! It kicked me in the teeth. I'm looking forward to trying your top corner techniques of heating the 'belly' rather than the tips to tame the fingers.

OMG just the video I needed!!! I been having issues with the top right corner when shrinking. The fingers always want to go horizontal and I end up creasing the film! I tinted my car 7 times already! Been getting better just need to get better at shrinking and cutting.

nice video! only comments are: better camera angle. top down and more close up shots. ill be using this for sure. please make more teaching videos with your novice son so others can see someone else learning it. i can see how many techniques you are explaining more vs your normal teaching videos. i would like to see him make mistakes and show us what it looks like and why it happened.

Man I just learned a lot just by watching ur son and wut he was doing like holding the card in the right position so u won’t cause a crease as u shrink basically like u say learning the dance it does lol ur very helpful thank u! One question I need some easy working film witch out of all ur film u can work with it easy and cheap at coast I have a small amount of money to work wit to get started? I really can use a sample sheet something small not even to do a window just to see how easy it is to work wit if possible I’m ready to buy my first roll of film at 45 years old I have nothing to loose at this point lol

I wish I watched this a week ago would have save me a number of messed up window films. Its a little help on my back window, my back window bends quite a bit so I messed up a lot at least 7 goes to get 1 that I could put on it. It has a few crease no bubbles and its cut just to small on the bottom. I say not to bad 1st time tinting a car. when a pro shop said it took him 3.

Hello, I have a 1973 beetle I need tinted with 70%. VLT. Not 1 tint company near me will touch the rear window on my car. And, the glass is out of the car!. Not many choices here so, i would like to try it myself.. im sure it will take a few attempts.. So my question to you is, What tint should I use.. and tools too. Any help is appreciated. I am willing to purchase the stuff thru you. Let me know.. thanks. Murph.

Hey Ralph, great video. I'm sure you know that the break light on the ES comes out real easy, it's slotted and ya just slide it back, lift up and undo the 2 wire snap plug. But, you nailed it with out removal. Great job! I've been tinting since 88 and loved your video of the old school seamed back window. I think it's the only time 1+1 = 1 lol. I use to cut my seam on the inside by rising the top side of the defroster line then pealing out the overlap but great job on that outside cut.
I do like you marker method for side windows. Makes sense with " shifty " windows. I actually just tint now on weekends and some evenings as a side gig. Keep up the good work and videos.

That is a good point. Maybe you can tell me what this better film is and I can start buying it immediately. I will call it MaricioFlex. I will also immediately lower the price. I really appreciate this advice. Just hope you will share the secret. Also... in the meantime, I will start calling all the 2300 flexfilm customers and share this new information. Maybe I could get you to help me start the calling process. It takes quite a while to call 2300 hundred people. Please send me a link to your website. I would really like to see how you are set up. Could you also take some pictures of your location. I want to see how a real tint shop needs to be set up. Thank you in advance if you will help me out on this matter.

Kinda nerdy like it's life or death to do this like a do-or-die thing didn't even have the sides Tacked down and it's simply clear it's like a process you have to use the hard card along with the heat gun so you can move along this video gave me a headache
