I find your observation of the lack of visible toilets on the tour to be very interesting. Your voice and manner of delivery makes the video quite informational, even without actual video footage!
I went there in the late 80s or early '90s. I remember they had tour guides. You'd walk into one room and the guide would say stuff and push to the next room and you had another guide tell you and his stuff and then pushed to the next room. I felt like I was on an assembly line. No stopping, hurry you along.
I went to Graceland when I was like 3 or 4, and it’s one of my first memories. I don’t remember much however watching the video I vividly remembered the plane! Idk it’s crazy.
Visited Graceland when I visited Memphis last fall; really neat tour. I agree the tickets are a bit pricey but I figured as long as I was there and who know when I'll get back there. I think years ago there was a tv show that allegedly said Elvis' ghost haunted the mansion. I'm thinking, who can blame him for not wanting to leave?
I've been to Graceland back in 1990 with my folks and grandma. Lisa Marie was living in the house. When we loaded on the bus George Michael was on the bus. Was awesome. My moms a huge fan of Elvis Presley. Also while we were in Tennessee went to a small store and meet Elvis stepmom.
I was at Graceland this time last year, great to see it again, thanks Jacob! I did wonder if Elvis was actually upstairs in bed eating a peanut butter sandwich, best wishes from Dorset. Uk
He died in the bathroom in a barber chair. He liked to go in there and read when he couldn't sleep.. I love your videos. They show the world awesome places that most would never get to see. P.s I love your daughter she is absolutely adorable and going to be quite a beautiful young lady!
Thank you for sharing this. I finally get to see Graceland myself. I've only her stories of it for my grandmother. She was a huge Elvis fan and just passed away recently in October of 2021. It's kind of like I'm here with her reliving all these memories. Thank you for all you do keep up the good work you got a follow and subscribe to your channel. God bless.

Awesome video. The Lisa Marie was previously operated by Delta Airlines prior to sale to Elvis whom had it re-outfitted in Fort Worth Texas at Meacham field
I was there back in 2011 and I’m amazed by how much the complex has changed since then. I absolutely loved the tour and want to go back so bad one day!
I have been to Graceland and as a super Elvis fan, I have watched a ton of videos about Graceland and this is the first time I ever remember seeing the working clock in the painting... Great job, Carpetbagger!!! The red couch was in the living room when Elvis died along with black carpet and black wallpaper. The dining room had a black table with high back red and black chairs. Elvis was really into red and black at the time. But Vernon never threw anything away and all the mid-60's furniture was in storage and restored when Priscilla chose to open the mansion to the public. The kitchen, jungle room, and basement are as they were in '77.
I took my mom( big Elvis fan) back in 2000. I don't remember paying for parking and I don't think the tickets were that much back then. We did the tour and the museum. I wasn't thrilled about going but was really glad I went. And was so very glad I got to take my mom to see it. She passed away in 2011. And I think she really enjoyed it plus it was close to the casinos in Mississippi. Lol I really was happy to see this. I think I lost all my pics I took that day. Thank you so much!
Parts have been redecorated because pricilla thought it was too tacky. She was going to redecorate more but others told her to leave it. Makes me mad she changed anything. Mainly on the main floor which has the peocock room is where she redecorated. I hope they put it back the way it was when she dies. Rumored pricilla wanted it back the way it was when she lived there instead of leaving it the way elvis and his girlfriend Linda changed it after the divorce. There was no bacon on his pb and banana sandwhich. I tried one fried. i didn't like it. Bacon probably would have made it better as it always does. I think elvis would be mad that it costs so much. His highest ticket price was 10.00 because he wanted everyone to be able to come to a concert.
I agree and the red sofa was in the livingroom when Linda decorate it . I like Priscilla , but I agree they should have left it the way it was when Elvis passed away .
I think Priscilla owns Graceland and can decorate it the way she wants to. I actually like that she updated it a little. You wouldn't want someone telling you how to decorate your home. Without her no one would be going there.
@@cindythecatwoman1601 Oh please STFU! Priscilla is being petty. Nothing should be touched if she had any respect for Elvis. She wouldn't be anything if it weren't for being married to him!

I was to Graceland October of 2018. May be going back this spring or fall. I've been a major Elvis fan since 1957. Wish I could get my husband to take me during August but he said too much traffic. Always will love Elvis no matter what. Thank you for the grand tour.

of course we all know what TCB really stands for but for Elvis in his days it meant "Taking care of business" and the lightning flash means in a hurry....love the video thanks Jutta
Wow, I was there in 2008 and it's grown in the past 12 years. Love your channel. Supposedly the upstairs has remained the same since the day he died and they didn't want it disturbed because it was so private. At least that's what we were told then, also the curtain was blue. Probably they changed it for Christmastime. What I found amazing is the house is relatively simple and humble for such a famous person.
I need to re-visit. My first offical visit was when I was a baby or really little and the story goes was that I couldn't go in because someone had to watch me. The second visit was back in...2009 I believe. So much more new things to discover!

It’s because those were Elvis’s favorite recipes he enjoyed. A lot of them were family recipes or from his personal chef/cook. Also Elvis lived in near poverty as a child so I can only imagine him finally being rich and able to relive his childhood through all the fun toys.

Elvis used the jungle room as a recording studio I think. If you have never heard it, there’s a song sung by a country band by the name of Lonestar called Walking in Memphis
