I loved my stay at the Guesthouse. I was there right when it opened. The customer service was amazing!! And, of course, it was beautifully decorated and felt very Elvisy. We were there when the Christmas lights were turned on. It was magical. 15:31 Priscilla picked out all the decor.
Best video EVER Micah,I'm 52 yrs old and sadly have never been inside the gates of Graceland. I had a stroke a few years ago and I probably will never make it there(I hope I'm wrong) but if I don't make it I can see at least what it's like in Uncle Elvises place. Yeah I know he is not my real uncle but my whole life I have pretended he is my uncle I never got to meet bc I learned so much from him through his music and let's be real his natural coolness so ty very much!!!!!
Thanks, that really means a lot to me! I did another video of inside both the house and car museum if you get a chance. I think you’ll enjoy my in depth look at his house and all the automobiles he had. Thanks for watching and I hope you get to the gates of Graceland one day.
Awesome......what great hotel..... I remember when it opened Good Morning America did a big story on it.... the stairs thing is so cool....room looked great, too.... I would watch the '68 special all day..... it is a good one..... the walk you did in the morning looked fun.... it would be nice to walk up the driveway., to walk where Elvis once did.... amazing.....thanks for sharing....take care..... have a great day.....thanks.....👍👍👍👍👍
It also has a nice pool area. When I stayed there, I loved going to the huge movie theatre in the hotel and watching Viva Las Vegas. I also watched the '68 Comeback Special in my room while I was there. I also liked that, one night, there was karaoke in the restaurant.
Do you all think Jesse is actually alive . His parents were poor and probly gave him up for adoption . I find it hard to believe they buried him in a shoe box
The maintenance guy name is Jimmy and he's Elvis's Cousin Uncle Vester's Daughter's son and Aunt Delta was one of the last relatives that lived at Graceland until ahe died in 1993 and she wasn't shy about not liking people go in and around the grounds...
The $84 ticket includes a tour of the mansion but it also includes your entry to the large museum as well as a tour of Elvis' cars and jet. This took us most of the day! I felt it was well worth the money. However, I'm not sure children would enjoy it.
Yes. I believe Graceland had its museum in and around it in storefronts before they built the new facility. (That is what was there when I visited.) So, they likely are planning to bulldoze it down now that the new building is up and running.
I drove from Lake County, FL to Little Rock last month, but on the way stayed in Tupelo and did the Elvis stuff there and then went to Graceland and did that whole thing. Sure, admission for the tours are kinda pricey, but I loved all of it and would do it again. Also, not a huge Elvis fan, but a fan of music and history in general. The billiards room is my favorite.
Something got crazy there too bad they put a lot of thought money and effort into it seems like a Winner. That's the problem when you don't have partners if you don't see eye-to-eye and are on the same page
OH MY ELVIS would have been 90 last Wednesday I remember the day the 🌍heard he had died🙏🙏🙏🙏😭😭 It was 2 days before my 12th birthday My Mom died in 2019 and I had already retired from work so my plan was to book a 3 week holiday to come to Memphis in 2020. But i came in April 2023 with a party of like minded ELVIS fans We stayed at the Guest House for 7 days and toured the places connected to ELVIS It was sad seeing the grave of Benjamin but doubly so for Lisa Marie😭😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏🙏 The next 7 days flew to Hawaii and did the same The last 3 days flew to Seattle and did the same It was a holiday of a lifetime I doubt I will get back to Graceland as I have done health issues since 🏴🏴🏴🏴🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
They have those leaf blowers everytime this time of day when you can walk up. I think its out of spite because epe can't milk this for money. Otherwise leaf blowers everyday even when leaves stopped falling.
Here’s what’s sad and interesting at the same time. None of the people who rode with Elvis in the ambulance were trained EMTs. They were fire fighters.
It was really surprising to me when I went to Memphis to see how non-touristy everything was. I was kind of expecting it all to be done up like Disney World with a gift shop around every corner. But it wasn't like that. It was really nice and simple and quite real. So, it doesn't surprise me that no one has done anything with Vernon's home.
No, I think it was Elvis. Priscilla was with him when it was sketched on a napkin on an airplane. But I'm quite sure that he worked with the jeweler to design the original TCB ring.
It's required by law that people can see the graves at a certain time, that's how they zoned it to be a considered a cemetery
Oh that is interesting. I didn't know that.
Boulevard Souvenirs is relocated on Union Avenue down from Sun Studios in case none of y'all know this...
Authentic Brands LLC. bought out the building leased by the competition (Boulevard Souvenirs) but didn’t kill the business. It relocated

Well I sure hope you are wrong. I hope you get there very soon. But in the meantime I'm glad you are finding ways to enjoy it as you can.
Awesome! One day,I hope to see it in person!
Awesome job. Elvis is a legend ❤❤❤

Nice jacket (Elvis)
It also has a nice pool area.

Ooh super cool!❤
Jesse Garon has not been officially found. Supposedly still buried in Tupelo, unmarked grave.
I think you’ll enjoy a future episode of mine.. but I also filmed it before
Correct. His body was never recovered and has probably become one with the earth
Do you all think Jesse is actually alive . His parents were poor and probly gave him up for adoption . I find it hard to believe they buried him in a shoe box
Great post Micah!! Thanks for sharing!!

His name is Jimmy Gamlin and he's Patsy Presley's son.

I walked that street in 1982 as a 15 year old when it first opened up to public.
Beautiful love that you shared it
I was going to take the family to Graceland when we were in Memphis a few years ago. But $85 each is outrageous.
I understand. You should check out the tour of the mansion. It’s worth it!
@@worldofmicahThe mansion tour is $84 plus taxes & fees

Thanks for yor Videos. 🎉❤🎉
Enjoy watching and ❤
Thanks! Glad you enjoy them.
Great Video !!! Have Fun
Thanks great video!!! 😊🇨🇦
Boulevard Souvenirs is now near Sun Studios. Graceland owned the building and would not renew Boulevard Souvenirs' lease.

Very cool! Graceland is a neat place even if you aren’t a big Elvis Fan.
I don't think it's pricey though when you consider that there's lots more included in the price than just the mansion tour.
Hello my friend how was your stay looks like a awesome place
It was fantastic Chris!
@worldofmicah that's awesome it's been a while sense I seen you at the blues brothers show I been working
Would love to do that thats amazing
The souvenirs shop is now off Marshall blvd. near sun records. they are open for biz. The Ambulance is not at the dojo anymore. It's in hiding!!!!
Thank you for this! I love them!
The partnership of the owners of the dojo dissolved and the ambulance is no longer there. It belongs to Spa Guy on youtube.
That’s right. Forgot I heard about that. Thanks

Those sound like amazing trips. I'm glad you got to see all the places connect with the King. Sounds like a dream come true.
MICAH HAS LEFT THE BUILDING 😅

Here’s what’s sad and interesting at the same time. None of the people who rode with Elvis in the ambulance were trained EMTs. They were fire fighters.
That's not correct. Charlie Crosby and Ulysses Jones Jr were trained EMTs who arrived by ambulance but for Elvis, it was too late.
@ oh alright thank you for clarifying
U would think someone would keep Vernon’s Home looking nice and take care of up keep!!!!!!!!
Absentee landlord in CA. 😢

60s music was the trouble with girls promo....😅
Is that also the same dojo that Priscilla later slept with her teacher/sinsa?
No
Man muss es selber erleben!!😎
you look cold Micah
Freezing. Florida has ruined me.
thanks
The TCB WAS DESIGNED BY PRISCILLA
No, I think it was Elvis. Priscilla was with him when it was sketched on a napkin on an airplane. But I'm quite sure that he worked with the jeweler to design the original TCB ring.
