    Hi friend! I'm so glad your family visited you in Tokyo! The TeamLab event looks so cool. I think there was something like it in Seattle last July, but for some reason, I wasn't aware of it. Your little girl reminds me of my niece at that age - her father was half Hawaiian and Japanese. My sister kept being asked if she was adopted lol. I watched My Octopus Teacher - it was a good movie. I hope to try Wagyu beef at least once! I find it interesting that what Japanese have for breakfast, we usually have for lunch (fish & veggies). What happened to the bacon? It looked like it was in a clump 😂 I haven't been to Disneyland in a loooooong time. But I drop 20 years when I walk through the gate! Baby girl looked so cute in her outfit and a make over too! I didn't know there was a Disney Sea - how fun! I got to bounce with Tigger at Epcot - woohoohoohoo!!! 🐯. Something tells me you're a Disney fan 😀. Did your family see the robot cafe? i can't get over how expensive those grapes were, why so much? It looks like everyone had a really great time. Once again, you're an awesome tour guide and love your fun side! After Thursday, it's dropping into the teens here and we may see snow on Saturday. 🐻‍❄. Take care, polar bear!

      Hi friend! This brightened up my day. 🥰 How was your NYE? Your sister seems like a good sport. OMG yes about "My Octopus Teacher." I didn't know octopus are as smart as cats. You might be able to find wagyu at Costco, friend. I saw it in our HI Costco during 2020. Yes, friend! I'm so glad I don't crave fish and veggies for breakfast. My Japanese family usually grills fish. I can't imagine grilling fish whilst I'm still half-asleep. 🤣 We might be eating burnt fish every day. 😆 The bacon tasted like bland ham. Oh how I miss real, natural American bacon. 🤤 Do you like your bacon crispy? I like mine REALLY crispy like chips. 😆 That must have been so fun living so close to Disneyland! Our family split up for the robot cafe day so they could do more grown-up activities. As for the grapes, I saw a show on Japanese TV where they showed how each bunch is carefully pruned for size and sweetness, not so much for quantity. So they remove a few grapes from each bunch to make for bigger grapes. And they have eat-all-you-can grapes in some regions! lol. 😅 Stay warm, polar bear, friend! Don't forget to make a snow angel. Heehee. 🥰🥰 @missmaziecat5058

      @@adoboramen Hi friend! How's it going? NY's was quiet. I like watching the fireworks and laser show at the Space Needle on TV. My days of rippin' and runnin' were back in the 80's lol. I'll settle for games with friends and a side of almost crispy bacon. 😂. Interesting about the grapes, maybe I'll look for something on You Tube to see about those techniques. I love the seedless green grapes and sometimes I get a good bunch that are really crunchy. Our cold snap is just about done and we only got a little bit of snow. I've been mostly hi-bear-nating. 🐻‍❄ ha ha. I just got done binge watching two seasons of "Why Women Kill" on Paramount+. It was a hoot. Not much else going on, so I'm organizing stuff around the house during the cold weather. It's almost time for Lunar New Year. Will you be doing something special for that? I'm year of the dragon - hope it's a great year! So until then, penguin! 🐧💙

      Hi friend! Lucky you! We don't have fireworks in our area. I slept at 11 p.m. cuz I couldn't stay awake. lol! I bet the grapes in your grocery stores are so crunchy and yummy! I can buy the grapes here if they're on sale. Oohh! That sounds like a good show, friend. Thanks for the recommendation! Wow! You're born in the year of dragon! So lucky! I used to buy moon cakes for the Lunar New Year in HI and watch the lion dance in Chinatown but now we don't have a Chinatown near our area. I'll probably just stuff my face with some frozen dim sum from Costco. ☺️ @missmaziecat5058
      BTW do you crochet friend? I wanna try one day. Talk to you later, hi-bear-nator. 🥰💕

      @@adoboramen It's a cool rainy Sunday here, so I'm just having a pajama day. The city where I live doesn't allow fireworks on the 4th of July, but that doesn't seem to sto my neighbors. I'm a night owl, whereas hubby is an early bird, but 11pm comes fast when you have kids! I once went to a dinner at Seattle U honoring the international student program and they had a lion & dragon show. I love those. The dragon tried to eat my head 🤣. The only thing I've done with crochet is make a lap throw for my dad using the ginourmous crochet hook with basic chain. I would like to learn tho-. I do love cross stitch. I guess I should go out and find a little dragon for Lunar NY. By the way, I told my niece that I wanted to try white kimchi and she said, "isn't that coleslaw?" hahaha!

    hi there! I am planning a trip soon with my 2 boys, 8 and 4. Which would you recommend more Disneyland or Universal Studios ?

    • @adoboramen
      @adoboramen  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi! 😊 We personally like Universal more for the Nintendo World (our kids love the Super Mario movie). But please check the height restrictions for the rides to see if your boys could go on them. Our kids are much younger so they couldn’t go on most rides. If they like Pokémon, USJ is also a great option. What we don’t like about USJ is when we went, there was no option to leave and re-enter the park on the same day so the kids had to take a nap at the park. @kerry-annbarber272

    we are planning to bring my 3 and 6 year old there too in June! Do you feel the dining choice are limited as many of them aren't kids friendly?

    • @adoboramen
      @adoboramen  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi @samsun387! We're so excited for your family. I think there are many kid-friendly restaurants in Tokyo. Most of the ones we've been to in Shibuya have high chairs, offer kids' utensils and kids' menu sets. We decided to eat at the hotel since Disneyland is not so close to central Tokyo. I hope you have a great time in Japan! Safe travels to you and your family.

    Was the octopus teacher an assassination classroom reference?

    • @adoboramen
      @adoboramen  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Steve!! It's from a Netflix film called "My Octopus Teacher." It's not quite action-packed but it's about a filmmaker who creates a bond with an octopus. lol

    Hi, like your video. Just wondering if it’s same to bring the kids who has severe peanuts allergy to Japan? Are they using Peanuts oil to cook? Thanks 🙏

      @adoboramen  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hello @lilymily8092. I'm so sorry. I'm not sure about the oil they usually use to cook in restaurants. It's best to ask each place before ordering.
