Other than a booby trap for thieves who come to harvest what they never sow, with water, manure, and labour for tillage, you are set to become an agripreneur. Meet elder Martin, he says he can't meet the demand for arrowroots. Remember to like ,share and subscribe too.

Yes Joseph farm is very viable when it it done in an organised way, applying best practices.
In Fiji it is called, taro or dalo we eat the root, the stems and the leaves. The leaves are best eaten cooked in coconut milk.
How do you cook the leaves

In Jamaica we use arrowroot to make porridge, delicious 😋
Jamaica is same like africa we have almost same food crop

We used to get this food for free when I was young in Ghana. Late 1990 to early 2000 nobody buy or even eat this food in Ghana. Africa has to change the he handles his agricultural and the natures

Very good Mutwiri. The problem is water. It must be in the marshy ground all the times. Our areas water is sold.
Thx ....I can try
Africa countries should develop their agriculture sector .this way they fight hunger and creat job.
This plant we know is taro, arrowroot is Casava or manioka, tapioca, now I'm confused.
Me too, I know this as taro or inghame.
It is called dasheen in jamaica...that is not arrow root
Looks very similar to Cocoyam
It is not arrowroot. Arrowroot is more similar to turmeric. Arrowroot is used to make starch 😊
It's arrow root
Is there upland arrowroots? I only know wetland arrowroots
Can you send the suckers for planting to Ghana for me?
Hi i need some seedlings how much do you charge for one.
The leaves are edible. Look for the market in other countries if they don’t eat it in your country. Also if u can release snails in there....they love that environment and can generate more money for u.
How can snails generate more money,,we don’t eat snail in Kenya ,,yucky
Where is your farm I need tubers
Thanks. How can l can i get u.
Which country do you live?
This is actually "Taro root"; "arrowroot" is a different plant. But I guess that's what's its called in East Africa.
How do you call it in your country, interesting to hear from other people.
@@hannahw4769 we call it DASHEEN in Trinidad, but they call it cocoyam in other Caribbean islands
Malanga, that is what they call them in USA supermarkets.
Arrowroot is similar to dasheen & cocoyam but three different vegetables.
@@nomatusi7514 we have a variety called malanga too, it's like a "wild dasheen"
This video from Kenya or ughanda??
Kenya
Please can you help me I want to join how do I do Sir?
This is not arrowroot. This is taro.
Actually this is Taro or dasheen. The leaves are also very nutrious with ochre.
They are 2 different plants
kayaknya sih bukan arrowroot aka garut deh
lebih mirip talas atau taro
daun garut kan kayak daun kunyit
Good work ! What do you do with majani? I had unaweza pika. Kama veggies
Zimbabweans cook it with peanuts and eat it with their ugali as they call it zadza. 🤤
Grace. The leaves are used to make mùkimo. More delicious than marenge leaves or kahùrùra.
GROW GOJI BERRYS IN AFRICA
That is not arrow root it is dasheen ...
charge more! if there are no complaints about price you are not charging enough.
That’s taro root also called Arrowroot .Arrowroot is not grown like that . Arrowroot look more like turmeric or white small carrot in shape not colour. This is not the Arrowroot baby cookies are made from . Once arrowroot is planted no one waters it.This I know for a fact .The best feed for our rabbits was grown between the arrowroot plants.
Did you finish medical school.
I dont think so,how could he he wanted money more, being a doctor is a call,ni uganga,he did the right decision to follow what he likes
Haha, is there a med school in Chuka?
