Phenomenal build! People complaining of the high price tag but different strokes for different folks. I’d take this over a G-Wagon or a Urus any day of the week!
Times have changed so much. In the 90s no one wanted these vehicles because they were considered obsolete. The dad of a friend of mine from school had a blue 1988 Wagoneer that was in excellent shape but went and traded it for a new K2500 Suburban in 1991 that was just under $40K. Well, even that era of Suburban is now a desirable vintage.
Hey Shawn, honestly it’s the best build yet on your show. The originality is amazing but it can get out its way. And perfect height for modern traffic. Bravo reminds me of when I was in my early twenties. Great Video Thank You 🙏
The quality and detail on this thing is amazing. Especially adding the ducts to make sure the AC hits the back seat. I’ve been in a $250k bronco that had no ac vents for the back passengers
Incredible...Really pulled off the look of the period top to bottom. THe guy that orders this wants it doesnt care about whats cheaper mpg or anything else.
That much power, with that much height and body roll, its a roll over waiting to happen. But with those flimsy 70s pillars it will pancake ...really needs an integral roll cage.
Nice. You should also check out the Hellwagon from Dennis Collins a while back. Basically a stock looking Grand Wagoneer (no lift) with whitewall tires and a Hellcat under the hood.
For the people that believe something like this isn’t 385k. He said 20k just in sheep skin carpet and that’s just one element of this entire vehicle. There’s not a massive profit margin in this.
The problem is not that people are believing the price is the fact that they can’t afford it so instead keep their mouth shut they berate the builder and car itself…
It’s a statement piece. The hours in it alone is a labour of love. Always loved these trucks this by far the one of coolest reimagined versions I’ve seen yet!
88 would have been the first year that it would have Chrysler symbols all over the place . I had an 87 2 door limited XJ Cherokee . And that was the last year with AMC emblems on everything .
I wont lie to you, 385 is not that far off from reasonable for such an immaculate and carefully designed piece. Luxury and Super cars sell for millions and arnt even worth driving. This is actually a tangable vehicle. There will be an endless amount of parts for hellcats, they're here to stay.
You’re probably not a rich jeep guy. There’s enough wealthy jeep enthusiasts out there to buy all these custom jeeps this guy builds. You have to be an avid Mopar guy with pockets deep enough that you don’t understand how much 400k really is. Me personally if I had that money I’d buy a Hogan Built K5 Blazer but that’s my jam.
@@deegan727 I understand completley i work on cars for a living and i love when people are adamant about building cars like this. 400k just seemed like a bit of a high number for this type of build. but then again perfection is priceless in the eye of the artist!

@@392Cherokee too high lol
the definition of a perfect restoration, modern but still has the soul of the original, but just made better
The craftsmanship in this Jeep is amazing. Vigilante has built another perfect Jeep!
This is my kind of build! I'll go as far as to say it's one of the best we've seen on your channel. Thanks Shawn!
Absolutely perfect. Love this build. 👍🏻😎👍🏻
Upgraded in the right way in a very detailed manner
Amazing craftsmanship!
This is exactly what I needed to see today. Keep it coming!
Spammer! We meet again!
Thanks 👍

Shawn, WOW, what a great build, love this Jeep, sorry we missed seeing you at SEMA. Your production is top notch.
Here is a great example of a restomod for those who are not used to looking like the same type of cars, here is a real Jeep, there is only one!!!
And that a "Vigilante"
Wow, what an amazing build. One of my favorite restomods ever. Nice job!
Great build! Daniel is definitely a master at his craft. The team at Vigilante 4x4 added all of the right touches while keeping it true to its roots.
HELL YEAH! Performance trucks are SO sick!!!
That a monster in reality on the Texas road
That is one wicked bad ass dream build
OEM+ master piece!

Instead of me opening up my mouth on my tech knowledge I saw your post. I'm in love with this thing. I bet our boy buys it himself.
Tastefully done for sure. That is a great looking Jeep.
Vintage interior and monster engine, this set is sick. Imagine mom taking kids to school and chasing with fast caars. Great episode. Greetings
Cool
Nice. Having a hellcat in there, I'd like to see a build like this restomodded on the interior.
One day I'm gonna have a hellcat stuffed into a RAM.

We are attached to details 🎉
i was specting this video for so many time, watching the ig post of vigilante's, i love it! thanks for doing it and bulid it up 😍😍😍😍
Thank you so much ❤
Incredible...Really pulled off the look of the period top to bottom.
THe guy that orders this wants it doesnt care about whats cheaper mpg or anything else.
Thanks we appreciate
WOW !!! Need one of those out here in southwestern Pennsylvania and start an Autotopia PA lol ...awesome episode boys !!!!
Wooden side panels not really my style but man! This things is awesome looking and has huge utility factor. ❤
Once again. Thanks Sean
That’s clean
Great Build, JUST AWESOME!!!
Thank you
I’m doing this with an 85’ Dodge Ramcharger.
Just as nice good choice
Sick!
Another Atlas transfer case for the win, glad to see them being used
That the only are able to play with 800Hp and 4wd
@vigilante4x4 I've seen other builds on this channel who went with stock transfer cases after spending thousands on everything else
I present to you... the most perfect thing you've ever seen on the internet...…
Waow, thanks 👍
Gorgeous jeep. Great build
Reminds me of the original that only got 8mpg 🤯
Excellent in every way ♥♥♥
I have one thing to say:Welcome to Motorstorm!
Would take that in a heartbeat killer ride and set up 🔥🔥🔥
What an extremely tasteful build. Sure the engine is nuts, but that's not necessarily bad.
No, that a good think
Classic beauty clean simplicity hell yeah I like it the outro music is on point!
Yes, the same for us ❤❤
I love it!
Absolutely amazing
Simply beautiful 🥹👌🏽
Thanks
I love old jeep ❤❤❤❤❤
That much power, with that much height and body roll, its a roll over waiting to happen. But with those flimsy 70s pillars it will pancake ...really needs an integral roll cage.
Not really we use custom chassis able to work with 1000hp. The chassis is completely reengineering.
Beast!
There's a sleeper😳
Amazing car 🎉
Love it.

We know that build, with leaf spring suspension. 😊
Wow a awesome jeep. Looks great
Thanks
TITANIUM BALLS YO!
Only thing I would change is a mini apple CarPlay unit to fit into that head unit
Could you imagine if Bill Harrah was still alive today he’d have this and the Je Ferrari lol!
For sure, the rules of the games, will be different
Send one, my way please 😁 Ill also drive my Vegan friends around in it 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
He has the Diamond Jim of Jeeps
🎉
Yeah baby!
Wow what a nice car ❤️👍
Thanks 🎉

You are right, every component is extremely expensive, and we have a ton of that in the build
@@vigilante4x4 it didn't cost *190k to build

@heinrichbier4759 still not worth the money
Nice jeep 👍👍👍👍👍

Your show is awesome !
Very cool! Thank you so much for your hard work! 💚🍓
Amazingggg build!! Can we find a square body Suburban LT4 build now?
Factories need to get the hint...
Dream truck
this Jeep design has never been my fav...BUT....i want this....i just gotta have me a leg of Zebra!!!
Hell yeah
Walter whites wife would be stoked
9:04 _It's soft and not a tight, hard wheel. Let them have their moment._ 🤣
I want one.
Amazing! No defroster? That can’t be right.
In Ca?
There is
Skyler whites wagoneer if hank hadn't found the book 🥰😇
I’m more impressed with David Freiburger’s DRAGooner …. Probably cheaper and pops wheelies 🔥🔥🔥
now thats a obile home
$385,000 really? Man its cool and all but think of how many vehicles you could fill in the garage you could build as well 😮
@@Ooops-e2n maybe 1 1/2 did you see the drive train all bullet proof shit!
Sleeper 🤘🏼🦅🇺🇸👌🇺🇸
Sits nice, baller maller beaut
I dig it, but I’d rather have the 392 engine in it just for practicality. I bet one like that would still be close to $100k
Like Harris casino . His was a Ferrari powered i think. I know it was bad ass and it still runs
Love it. Such a awesome blend of OE restoration and pure steroid abuse. Unbelievable.
I had one of these Jeeps during HS. Did you know that it is really hard to tip one over?
What a bitchin ride!
Inline 6 Cummins w a manual would also be cool and maybe cost 100k to build

True
I love this car. I just would be concerned about it flipping over.
No one ever mentions how much it drinks fuel 😂
The guy that buys this doesnt care about mpg
That a modern engine with fuel injection, not the older carbs 😂
12:46 a little close there, no?
Then it immediately says Vigilante on the step right after the guy says he doesn't like the branding all over.
👍
Bad @$$!
2:18 why a 4speed auto I know it’s to handle the 810HP of the Redeye crate but why not the 8 speed auto but I bet it’s expensive to get an ZF 8AT
😮😮😮
Id rather have a g wagon
Super cool but expensive as hell😂😂😂
385....never in my life would i pay 385 grand for a jeep. idc if it had a rocket ship attached to the back. cool jeep but not 385 cool.
20 grand worth of carpet lol....

Why didn’t he put a hellephant motor in there instead of a hellcat?
Just because helephant is not available
🦅🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Lose the cheesy strip club music, we wanna hear that V8
Wtf
Anyone who calls a Jeep a “car” has lost any hope in my opinion. Same guy would call a magazine a clip. 😂
Whether anyone wants to admit it or not, there are ALOT of "VIGILANTE" signs on this thing. Alot. I counted like 16 just in this video lol...
Is maybe, that because is our brand
