Corrections on my video: 1) Hogan's belt is upside-down at the 3:00 mark - he was partying too hard with Mean Gene the night before, LOL 2) At 3:18 mark, the Series 6 Andre is smaller than Series 1, but is a REPAINT of series 2, so it is not smaller than it (I misspoke) Please subscribe for more content! If they made some more LJN WWE figures in 1990, It would be Mr. Perfect, Jake Roberts, Macho King Randy Savage, Ted DiBiase, Jim Duggan, Demolition (Ax and Smash), and Earthquake.
They made Jake the Snake in series 4 and Ted DiBiase, Jim Duggan, and Ax in 1988. The 1990 wave was supposed to include Smash, Bad News Brown, Bushwackers, Barbarian, and Brother Love.
This was a very awesome video, I really enjoyed it. The LJN WWF figures, along with the Remco AWA figures, are my favorite action figures ever. More videos on the LJN figures (and AWA figures) is always a good thing.
Awesome! Hope it's not too late in UK time for the viewing premiere (I am in Canada so targeted mid-afrernoon here). The line certainly brings back a lot of memories 😎
I have rude from the last series but the other 5 are now soooo expensive. I need about 10-12 to finish the whole collection. I've had my others for decades now...damn we got old fast lol. We played with these so often as kids and brought them to school back in the 80's for show and tell. Great video. Edit someone used a Haku to make a custom barbarian?! 🤦🏻
Yeah they rose in price fast. Glad you enjoyed the video! No, a Haku wasn't sacrificed to make Barbarian. They 3D printed a solid body (it's not rubber) and swapped the hands to make Barbarian. No series 6 LJN's were sacrificed to make the custom, LOL!
@@fordsrule35 LOL. I almost didnt reply coz my initial thought was "huh, but people use these figures for customs all the time" till I realized the rarity makes collectors a bit more cautious in sacrificing a 1989 figure. Though... i have seen some where the paint is entirely gone and theres no point saving it, such that people make a custom. Thanks for viewing!
That might be true, but in the United States, you could only get the series 6 figures from a mail order ad. They were around $17 dollars each from that ad. They never hit the store shelves in the US.
I grew up in Maryland in the States. My grandmother would take me to a warehouse they shipped from in Westminster Maryland. Man, they sold us all 6 straight from the warehouse. If I only knew bro.
@Robert Anthony hey Robert...thanks for the info.Im a avid collector.....but have never seen another authentic live shot macho man.....have you?seen jake roberts but its rare......
Best wrestling toy line of all time, great video Ken!
Thx Tim. This line is ageless
Awesome video! Now you've inspired me to expand my LJN collection. There goes my savings lol
Glad you enjoyed it. But sorry about the bad influence lol

@Robert Anthony so we’re the Bushwackers, Barbarian, Brother Love and Bad News Brown

Awesome video! I wish I could go back and buy all of these.
I think we all do!
I have bought them all again, with the exception of the referee(s). Love the LJN WWF figures!!

@@ToyKennections Yeah that's why I was like 😲 lol. The 1989 series are so rare but you never know what some people are thinking lol. Thanks again.

These were not exclusive to Canada. We had these in New Zealand at retail, and lots of them.

I could talk wrestling all day. Lol.
Sweet!! Love LJN WWF !! Watch me play!!
Just saw warlord at toy shop for a grand. Ridiculous
Yikes!
Wow!! That shop is charging way too much for the Warlord. I got a mint one about a year or two ago for $250 and I thought that price was a bit much.
Waffle????😉
Lol! Not for these studs.
