I'm sort of annoyed that he quickly glosses over Lost in Anime by Thomas Romain, not even mentioning his name. It definitely is one of the top concept artbooks ever made.

I loved this art books are a blessing and a curse because they’re so useful but I’m a broke college student 😂
Okay... so I get it, I actually love the style BUT... some more art references, like... Italian, or from the world, not just Japan.
