Lingards issue was that he loved Manchester and really wanted to play there but Manchester were and still are a total mess of a club, it's really no secret that the club have more or less stagnated since Sir Alex Furgeson, talented players like Lingard needed a better infrastructure around them to thrive, as you say, under Sir Alex, he would have done great. But the good thing is, he financially secured his future with various business ventures outside of Football so he's fine overall.

His form peaked in 2018. I would sell him.
I'd hate to see Lingard become Dele Ali. He is good but just frustrating to support
I could see lingard do well in Italy for some reason.
Lingard is lucky to have ever played for Man United and even West Ham. He's a championship level player at best
he's like the jordan poole of football
Lingard had a good chance to head to Saudi League but his hefty wage demands even made Saudis reject the player. Ego and overhype is the reason for his downfall.
Thomas Müller also with Bayern, in regards to Van Gaal.
The MessiLingard era was peak United
You have to make a video about PSV EINDHOVEN they are cooking this season they only lost 2 points this whole season they drew won game and won 17 matches in a row in the eredivisie
My second favourite football content creator ❤ sorry Mark goldbridge exists but everything you do is amazing
"as you say, under Sir Alex, he would have done great"
No he wouldnt. He would have gone a similar route. His talent isnt much more than what already is. People act like he was ever good enough for the worlds elite when in fact he was never more than "Above average" for exactly a SINGLE year in his career.
Im just saying: Anderson and Ravel Morrison.
Even Diego Forlan flopped under Fergie. Fergie is a legend, but not everything he touched turned into gold. And he couldnt bring every wonderkid to its potential and he certainly couldnt bring a guy like Lingard to anything near world class level.
When the Saudi team turn him down because of his high demand salary then you his taking the piss
I think alot of modern player drama is because Man United no longer compete with City or Arsenal but instead Coronation Street and Eastenders.
Wet rot you can scrape away and treat. Dry rot goes deep, and destroys the very core. The Glazers are dry rot.
Will be remembered more for his tiktok dances than his footballing career
Lingard is still a very young player and will soon find a team which matches his talent.
