Amazing work on the video! I had a question on the rollers portion: did you have to handle any logistics like film permits, blocking off roads, etc?
Well done! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you! Cheers!🔥
So cool bro! Cannot wait to try create something like this 🙏🏽
Yus thanks bru, it was such a vibe working on this! Hope you get a lekker opportunity to shoot something like this, so much fun!

It IS always inspiring seeing filmmakers doing high end visuals with Limited Crew and Equipment
Thanks mate, that's always a huge compliment for me! Grateful for your support :)
I just discovered your channel. I learned so much just from your short BTS videos! For your day 2 closeup shots with the 24-70, did you still use 1/8 mist or just a CPL? Thanks and looking forward to more videos!
wow rly awesome
Thanks so much bro!
Awesome video! Could you consider making a video for making solo film making, and how to make it cinematic? Essentially making a vlog feel like a movie. Keep up the great work.
Thanks so much bro! I'll be doing more tutorials about shooting solo going forward, will do my best :)
I need a workshop with you as soon as possible! Your expertise on filmmaking is unparallel! Great team too btw🔥🔥🤯🤩👌🙏
Thanks Alex, that's such an encouragement! I hope to create a course in the near future.

May i know what focal length did you used for the rollers? Thanks alot!
Damn! What a nice shoot :) Epic shots, epic edit, well done! Greets from Germany-
Thanks Tobias, really grateful to work with such an amazing team!
@@jacques_crafford Yes, I can understand that. There's nothing like a good team!
I did VFX for more than 10 years. Without a great team it‘s nearly impossible to shoot complex scenes.
i want more videos bro , you are the best
Thaaanks dude! 🙏
Great tips. Thanks for sharing. Hoping my improvement from this tips.
Aaaah thanks Claredel, I hope so too!

@@jacques_crafford although we don't like waiting but when you do post it feels worth the wait.
Gracias por el video!
Thank you so much!

Amazing work and great fun BTS! One question, are the DJI wireless controls compatible with the RS3 Pro for joystick and focus ? I checked with DJI and they said only with Ronin 4, also the suspension springs
on the Tilta is a custom rig ?
It was amazing! I currently use the isteady pro 3 and the gopro hero 8 black and later I would like to be able to use fpv drone to improve my shots.
Can you please tell me more about your Macro adapter? as I could use it on my 24-70🙂 Really enjoying your BTS,😉 straight to the point
Great channel! I just found it, watched through some videos and its high quality stuff!
One question: In this video you mentioned using polarizer filter and VND filter at the same time. How is it possible? VND itself is polarizer already so its basically 2 layers of polarizers which create X-patterns on the image, at least in my experience.
I Learn a lot from you and it's really Inspiring
So happy to hear that, thanks for supporting my channel!
@@jacques_crafford ❤️
wao hermano,, yo lo felicito
Thanks so much!
Amazing work as always! Just a quick question, what adapter did you use on the 24 - 70 for the macro shot?
And have you considered using anamorphic lenses for your projects? Like the Sirui 50mm full frame anamorphic? What are your takes on them?
Bro thank you! I'm not sure which filter it is, I'll ask Reilin (it was his). Pop me a mail and I'll send you the link when I find out (just in case I don't come back to this comment as they tend to heap up). I'm keen to use anamorphic lenses but haven't found the right project for it, hopefully soon! I can only comment for real when I've used one but from what I heard it's pretty amazing for a fraction of the price. I think some anamorphic just have a specific character that DP's / Directors want, and those characteristics are not possible to re-create with the modern budget anamorphics.
Superb
Thanks so much!
Thanks for FAQ, can you please show which kind of arm handle do u use to set this up on a car?
Which polarizing filter are you using? Also how did it work with polarizer and variable ND, so you wont get the X from the two intersecting filters ?
very interesting
Thanks bro!
Awesome Video 😍😍😍
I tried to shoot the video with headlights on but headlights highlights just blew out how to shoot in situations it was a little dark when I shot with my Sony a7ivR 24-70 2.8.
Thanks
Nice
Thanks! 🙏
Epic Jacques. Always stepping up and pushing all the gear to it's limits! Absolutely love this film. Great work @Reilin Joey !
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Aweeeeh bra, dankie dankie vir jou! Wens ek en jy en Reilin kon uithang, julle sal so goed oor die weg kom!
Always love your work man, that high tech rain cover looks rad :) what fstop did you use for the dance sequences if I may ask because I could fee that most of the dancer was in focus
Haha thanks buddy! Yeah man, refuse bags work a charm for a rain cover haha. I shot most of the dancing scenes at F/2.8 actually. The main reason everything seemed in focus was because of the distance to the wall.
For car shots do you need ibis when having the gimbal ? I’m debating on upgrading to the a7sii for vids (I have a a6400 but it doesn’t have stabilization ) or would it be good with post production stabilization +gimbal
amazing as always. What picture profile was this shot with?
Thanks Ajith! I shot everything in PP8 (Slog3).
I'm trying to get into this side of things and just picked up a FX6, do you recommend the RS3 pro or lens first? I live in an area with lots of access to rentals so im just trying to figure out which is better to make the next investment
How you set the Af when the car running to avoid hunting-af ? Tks mate
Amazing video! Can you make a breakdown for a color grading? Its absulutely stunning!
Thanks Branislav! I'll see what I can do!
wow
Thanks Nicholas!
Are you South African btw? Cause my parents are from South Africa but I wasn’t born there, but you definitely have a South African accent! Anyway I’m gonna watch the video now, the opening shots were amazing! So I’m sure this video will be great!
Keren
Thank you!
Hi , I don't have much experience with iPhone filming. Do you think that for creating a business page, for example, car services and creating content about the same services and cars, the iPhone 13 or 13 Pro is the answer and the performance of a mid-range mirrorless camera with Does it provide a good lens and gimbal? Because now I have a Canon m50 camera with a Sigma lens and a gimbal, but it takes time to set up and it can't be taken everywhere, do you think it's reasonable to reject these and get a 13 or 13 Pro? And what is the difference between 13 and 13 Pro? Thank you for your help, I am confused, because I had Android experience and I know that it is not the answer for my work, but I had no iPhone experience.
Can you please tell me what focal length you used in rollers🙏🙏
Would've been great to see the final result at the end.
That Ferrari commercial video :- th-cam.com/video/R2E1n6vLR7o/w-d-xo.html
iLove
Thank you so much!
Hi Jacques!
Hoe het julle die klank opgeneem vir die video?
Meer specifically die rolling shots van die kar?
Is dit audio wat julle apart gekry het?
Ek kan dink dat wind nogal 'n issue kon wees
Curious, what isolator is that on the gimbal? Looks custom
but need the big cost wow..and the result is very good
Thanks brother, we did this on a budget but if you shoot a cheaper car and shoot without a car rig you can still get some awesome results.
please rate one of my videos, Thank you
Struggling to buy gimbal because of weight, I am traveling non stop and weight is very crucial. Great share, as always. Great channel for cinematographer!
Aaaah yes, that's always an issue. I have to say the RS3 is really light! Thanks for supporting my channel!
@@jacques_crafford I thought about rs3 already, can it weight bmpcc4k?
is this look made just with phantom luts and correction? Looks so cool
Thanks mate! Yes it's Phantom LUTs (Utopia) with some custom tweaks :)
